    hmmmmmm ;) dont want to be an disapointment but i also got runtime error... I have a big queue 12-14GB and there are only mp3 files in queue. That means 3-20 mb in size... hmmmmmm I never used a client which didnt crashed. With 0.4.0 I have had luck, but I didnt push him much like other clients. That means huge queue, huge favorite user list, very nice stuff in share so everyone wants to download from me... and slow connection... I wish You luck guys. Apex is the best client on the world :crying: Cheers

    I dont go anywhere. I dont call people 12 yo, and child game and things like that. I am spending a lot of time to bring out some ideas to make client better. If You want same as me, please show some dignity and be above those temptations to TRY make somebody look funny. I have almost half of Your post in 4 days and a lot of GUIs showned (You are here more than a year). I dont expect any credits, I do that as I like to do it. But I dont respect replies like those in the past... If You respect me I will respect You. Thats my policy in all the hubs I am OPing and everybody are satisfied with me - Users and Hub Owners. I also spend a lot of time to help other poeple and I have many friends. I do this to have pleasent time and I am doing everything to stay like that. I hope we understand each other couse its all off topic now...

    If u want those UserCommands in some hubs where ur not op in all of them u need to set same user command again ( and set it to show in the specified IP/DNS adress)

    Well If You could explain that a little bit. Coz, You can set commands whether you are or you are not an OP in some hub. You just have to enter IP/DNS of that hub and you got same thing I thing You are trying to do. I globaly split commands on OP ones and regular ones. But I have some separate commands for hubs which use verli and ptokax software. There I enter hubs IP/DNS...

    You can enter command for example:

    1) IP/DNS danceremix.hub.address ; command: hi there %[nick] welcome to Danceremix hub, real nice hub for new music promos and friendly chat

    2) IP/DNS djcenter.hub.address ; command: hi there %[nick] welcome to DJ Center, a real pro hub for DJ resources

    And You will NEVER have same commands together. One will apear when you are trying to execute commands in one hub, other in other hub

    Its the same command but different text. Is that it?

    Well I was thinking on that too. Ahhh Yes. You think that it can be edited for every hub separately. Yes. It could be good. Anyway. I would like to we all find a good solution, and if its that good and not too hard to code... and the Chris and Lee like that one. Its a goal. All we have written here wont be useless

    the ideas with timers and stuff may be really too hard to do; however, your 2 images show good solutions (i prefer the one with the "Save" command in the dropdown).

    Yes I like it too. Thanks. And those timers are counters in fact. They are not so hard to do. I dont code programs but i use windows based scripting. I know a basic stuff a bit. Thanks for Your comments mate. I hope Chris and Lee will get some nice ideas so we can all enjoy this wonderfull client the way we like...

    Well I would personaly like that function in any way. I think it should also save the type of filtered list (nick, tag, ip, share, pk string...). Basically I dont want to complicate things. I have made my effort to make a suggestions. they might be good, they might be bad, they might give you some another, better idea. I dont know. I am here with my expirience as user, op, admin and client tester to help You make better client which I already use. I have been using PWDC++ also and I like it very much.

    I can give 3 possible solutions (and 4th is yours):

    1)

    a.) save line - it should save typed line together with chosen list type (nick, tag, ip...)

    b.) delete line - simple delete

    c.) clear line - clear writen data from enter line

    2)

    It should have this "S" button which can be used for save. In the options there could be number of X entries (remember last X (user choice) entries) like Zlobomir said, which can be saved into that list. If You reuse some word(s) from the list it should take "freshest" position in the list in order not to be delited if You use it often. When NEW LINE is entered and the MAX ammount of stored words are hit, the oldest word in the list should be deleted.

    3)

    This one could be done with no interface and to be affected by CTRL+UP or DOWN. Also a list which deletes oldes entries when new one is typed

    4)

    Just autocomplete like you said... of some frequent typed words...

    what i meant here is that when you write down 1 letter in the field, the list is already updated according to this letter. if you type another one, the list updates again; etc.

    so, say i want to search for "[VIP]" in the user list. if that list saved everything searched for, it would save:

    [

    [V

    [VI

    [VIP

    [VIP]

    thus my question about how to tell the program when to add something to that list, and when not to.

    Good Point... I could give it a try...

    Go To Settings >>> Advanced >>> Activate search/userlist filter by pressing Enter (7th option from the bottom)

    If its checked, word can be saved by Enter. If its not it wont be saved.

    Second option should be small little tiny button which will decide what searches will be saved.

    I think this second one will suit the best. I will make GUI to show how it could look and you decide...

    I guess it is not quite good idea to discuss how much exactly the box has chanced :angry:, so I'd just announce my HO in details. :)

    1.

A very useful one, even if we add * and ; support, it would allow per hub check for forbidden files, and I have such need, I am opping a metal hub and we are kicking users with crappy music-like (chalga in BG). And I do not want it reported in TGO, since I am not to kick for it there, although if only Sidey or Tony knew Bulgarian... anyway. :crying: Actually a button, opening a new sub-window for ADLSes per hub will be the ideal solution.

    3. It really looks better, and if there are only a few hubs allowing pro-looking away msgs for their OPs, too bad. :stuart: Btw I would love to have the script for this, please, at least until the feature is naturally implemented, if approved at all. :angry:

    4. Wouldn't unignore per hub suit you better?

    5. Really a little childish, but Freebow agreed even on one field... Still, imagine a music hub with active chat, if the OPs do not mind, why Apex should limit user creativity? Even a multi-line winamp spam, isn't the max char limit for this? :wacko: And for triggering, imo /w (default), /ww (custom 1) /www (custom 2) /wwww (custom 3) may be better. Although by happy coincidence 1234 is also right over w. :D Another request was for binding keys, it could solve this acc. to personal taste.

    Great! What do you think, if something is retyped more than once, it should change a postion in order to be deleted when it reach X number (remember last X (user choice) entries)? You know what i mean. For example I have set 5 entries. And I have

    1. I mean space in GUI for longer nicks, sorry... But with drop-down it will be clearer for selection... But why not pressing, f. ex "c" for nicks, starting with "c", then use the arrows or add a second or third char (like it is already btw)?

    2. Why not just add all and let user define how many entries "before the last" he wants.

    uh... well i have some settings which i always check from there... It is not always consider user name but tags, cheating description, and that sort of things... But You are right. I type always almost the same things so I guess that is a good solution to a problem. Why complicate things when they can be simple. I like it... :)

    OK, I think I have it... Most of the misnamed files afaik are notorious. So we are dealing with only a few TTH-es. What I guess we might do - adding a sub-option to ADLS: "...but use color X instead of color Y when reporting in MC, if file TTH matches one of the following: TTH1; TTH2; etc.". In this way, OPs will have some chance to show a little mercy, if TTH is matched. But if it is not matched, and after a short real check of the file, the user should be banned forever and for good.

    Uh mate. Yes You got it. You are working really hard. Thanks. I also spend much time trying to suggest some things.

    I thinking.... at this moment... maybe the best thing to do is just to ad a filename search to adls instead of TTH. No TTH at all. So if he have a filename with that words checked - its ok :) Cheers mate. PS: I am working on some gfx of HUB Properties. It took me much time but... I like it...

    I think your missing the point.

    We dont want either sick files, or good files with sick names, both are sick, and we dont want them. PERIOD!

    as for your picture of the file with the sick name, you really really shouldnt have postede that. one might suggest you posses such a file. Think on this.

    Well it was my mistake at the first place. It should be posted somewhere considering OP version of Apex. I dont have that file - I have found it on one of the hubs wher I am an OP. Please read again. I am talking about sick names on good files which have been renamed and become good files :)

    Also I am giving my vote for that drop down feature - It can be usefull in many other ways...

    about your specific problem here (kicking based on some factors), have a look at the Fake detector > Clients tab in the settings. you can add this st|z|pw|ap as some kind of regexp, and associate an automatic raw to that profile. you can this way do whatever action you want for these profiles, automatically (no need to select the users, clik "kick", etc).

    the hard thing may be to correctly define the raw, but it isn't the matter here.

    this doesn't make this feature request unuseful, though :D

    Uh... You are killing me :) I would like all that to see in Apex... And I have a 256/64 ADSL. So I cant download filelists all the time. With "Auto Search" I could do my job in 5 mins and leave. Also sometimes users dont like to be checked everytime they connect to a hub. And yes I agree - Files can be checked with simple search but it takes time to type, then to kick, and again to type, again to kick...

    I am an ADMIN of my posts :D its 998 ;)

    Uh about that feature you are suggesting... Wont we help sick people to hide their download files and maybe they could download something that will not trigger

    Sorry... it exist and it is ok. It helps more then it could harm. hm. Imagine that feature separately for each hub. In the hubs where movies are forbidden you can enter *mpg;*avi;*mpeg... etc.etc. Separately... that would be a great feature.. dont you think? I am a bit tired.... uh...
