  1. Ah, good. A CHM file to include some info for first time users would be useful. Especially considering that there seem to be requests within this forum for things that are already availble.

  2. Scroll wheel is just middle click... anyway, yeah those are fine. Adding in close buttons would be rather space wasting, in my opinion. They would just reduce the amount of text visible in the tab which I don't exactly see as useful. FOr the time and effect required... not worth it.

  3. Technically, you could buy a bigger monitor and all your probs would disappear.

Hey, you didn't say it needed to be a free option :)

Very good idea... but I'm cheap. :D

Anyway, I need to buy a monitor sometime, the simpel answer is there's other stuff I'd rather spend my money on. Moreover, I'm sure I'm not the only person this effects.

However, wasn't there talk of having an option or something so the transfers section of the GUI would be hidden when a search window was open.

  4. 1. Fn being what button exactly?

It's the extra "Function" button included with a number of keyboards. It often allows users to use there F keys for other things and stuff. Quite useful, however my keyboard does have them they just don't work. ;)

  5. I would not like it at the top, but having the option wouldn't hurt in my eyes. However, I do feel a need for change within it as on 1024*768 and with my transfers "section" viewable it is hard to select the hubs I wish to search. I don't know of a particularly better way though. ;)

  6. sorry it was in dcpro....i have never used them....

    Ah ok...i didn't need it...

But what about tabs like in windows applications bar?

What? DC++ even uses tabs? And it's like the "windows application bar" in that they go to the one you click on and have a right click menu with close minize and maximise etc, and you can do Ctrl+Tab to scroll through them. How else/more could it be more like the "windows application bar"?

  7. Yeah, it's a really good hub and we provide lots of support there. Even I'm one of the support crew there and with the new version of the hub (which is still in testing at current) coming ou,t soon enough for ApexDC++, support will be even better. A number of common support issues should even be solvable without us even being there, although of course we still will be.
