DC++ and it's mods are not really designed to use plug-ins, as such I believe the only way to add extra functionally to a client which is used for LAN only networks would be to compile a seperate client with these added funtionalities.
-
Having since then started paying for usenet services and even for NZBs I now ahve to agree that for the newer stuff it is superior to BT in a number of ways. There are still some good BT sites out there for the harder to get stuff though. :)

:) I didn't realise this was the new PeerWeb site everyone is talking about. Blimey.

The option is good and should be user submitted (so what if you can only see it for other Apex users), BUT it would need to be disabled when emulating otherwise this would easily set out ApexDC from other clients and make emulation very easy to detect.
-
Either of the first three, I hate the first one... ...with a passion.
-
Hmm... this feature of auto getting of filelists is basically there already, just only for the hubs you are an OP on. The check-users on join option, although that is rather different to what you are suggesting, which I don't see much of a use for.
-
If people were going to share the min they wouldn't need this to do it. However, I would have thought it would be fairly difficult to do though... having said that, I'd use this feature most likely.

None: ** Lee - Ratio: 1.00 (Uploaded: 100 GB | Downloaded: 100 GB ) There, add that option.

All the DC clients on Linux are really buggy, better of using a Windows emulator or whatever.
-
Community... and older files/music. New films and games just have to come from BT though.

I can't see why this would be removed from SDC? Unfortunatly, I'm doubting the DC:Pro source will be of much use to Crise, we'll see.
-
Having a Pause button in the right-click menu on the Transfers section would prove to be useful I think. Resuming via Downloads Queue shouldn't be too much of a problem. PS. Thanks Crise, some old fractal. :P
-
Yeah I can see that it would be useful. If possible to add there's no reason (in my opinion) why it shouldn't be added. I would probably use it.
-
Slightly more possible? I don't know how windows mobile works, but it would be possible to "check on a hub while your away" (as to if there is new text etc there) via WAP or whatever.
-
Heh, just as long as it's in there. :)
-
Oh right, of course. Sorry I didn't get it. :)
-
That makes no sense to me. Well maybe it does, but not in relation to how this makes the feature harder? :S
-
Alright, good, no reason it should be in the normal version.
-
How do you mean? All it would require is a "Resume with Priority" menu within the right click menu, from which they can select the priority as in the downloads queue window? Or the resume button would just download with the previously selected priority or auto/normal. Meh, I don 't think I understood what you meant.

Sure, and lets get the ynhub port to linux...
-
Heh true. Yet, there are plenty of OPs out there! If/when an OP client gets produced that'll we another set of people this will draw in possibly, if it's good. :)
-
Hmm... I can see the use for this, but in the end the hub really should get recoded if this really causes trouble. I don't see how adding this could be harmful, not sure exactly not it would work though. Server-side changes would be superior.
-
Nah don't really need much more skinning options. In fact I don't even particularly care about customizable icons. :)
-
Would it be possible to make it optional and add a warning then?
-
Good. It is things jsut like this that need to be added to the guides by the way, in my opinion. Seeing as the Guide/CHM/whatever is being included with ApexDC++ should be targetted at new users it should show simple things like this that people just don't know about.
