your missing my point, i want to be notified of content change, somehow.. just don't want my tabs to change width.

tabs need a bit of work. don't know how much is possible, allot of this has already been mentioned. doesent hurt to post it again. -grouping of similar tabs (as in Win XP) -seperating HUBS from PM's (visually or positionally) -seperating 'favorite hubs' tab, 'download queve' tab, 'public hubs' tab.. etc. - also either visually or positionally maybe to the top, just below the toolbar buttons. -adding little X's on the tabs as suggested what do you think? edit: ohh and removing the 'bolding' of the HUB tab when a new message has been posted, couse it changes the width of the tab. maybe replacing it with a color change of the text or underline effect, anything just not the bold effect. such estetic changes would definitely differ Apex from Strong, make it pretty unique.

have you taken in consideration that every icon needs to be 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64 to be 100% WinXP compatible? that sizes it up to 40KB per icon, now do the math.

that would just clutter the upload queve.. maybe just add a "select user in list" like the main chat command when you right click on a user.

Could we have a search for users feature? i would find this very usefull. i recently got a PM from somone and i dunno from which hub that PM came, so this would allow me to search for the user. i dont think this would hinder hub performance in any way. as it should just search users that are listed on the hubs anyway. it would just be allot easier then manually searching every hub. (something like an internal text search, no queries to the hub whatsoever)

on my previous connection i had to had that turned on. so i can see this as a missed feature already.

or you could just download them again. ive read what you said about files being rare and took weeks. but maybe that can be fixed. 1. what connection you got? 2. what files were you after? (PM me) mind me asking, but maybe i have some of them.

daily logs seem a bit to much, maybe weekly? or minimum 3 day logs?

Would it be possible if the client could close after all downloads are completed? i find this very handy if you let your DC and torrents running and you go away for a time. then when your downloads are complete in DC, the torrents can freely seed without DC users taking all the upload bandwidth, which usually is the case. [not sure if it was mentioned before]

nope, not really, think of it this way, if there is no such feature i wouldnt even open DC then. i would just leave torrents seeding and would download from DC when i get back.. either way, im still gonna close DC after all my downloads are complete. (note that im talking about public hubs, when im on private ones things are different, there i share and keep sharing even when i get the stuff i need.) edit: btw Shareaza has this...

Heh, ohh boy, dont mean to be rude, but come on! id like some more important things to be implemented rather then this. like make a client that connects to a large open hub, registers you as vip, chats itself to few op's and earn's respect and OP status by itself. ohh and when i leave the house it turns on the pc, and internet and reads my mind on stuff i want to download and actually does it. :)

If it was working before and nothing's been changed in your client then it cant be its fault. hub was probably down.

Dont know if this was already suggested but i would like a "show joins" option to be set for each hub in favorites list. in more detail i hate using "show joins" as default due to large open hubs. but comes very handy in small private hubs. and im very annoyed at typing it every time im connecting to one. plz. say this will be done? :)

i think it should be strictly user defined. i wouldnt want it to automatically turn on if 101 user logged on, and then trash the chat window.

By far my 1st one. combined with PW for releases its the best (even though PW is G2), once connected to several open hubs speed is as equal as BT and no share-ratio tension. i use it mainly for older files. + i like the chat and comunity. and only downside sometimes are stupid hub rules and awfull and annoying searching.

while your at it, why not make a chat client for windows mobile that connects to DC networks, so you can check on a hub while your away :-p
