There will be plenty of opportunities to receive testing access once the program is out officially. We'll have a few competitions, but make sure you're on your toes otherwise they might have gone by the time you visit. :(
-
I wasn't complaining about that. It's good to look at what other clients have got, and take the best parts. :(
-
What happens if you need a bot to register in a hub?
-
There will be an experimental build of pwdc available to show beta testers and donators what features we're currently coding and looking to put into ApexDC. They then have the freedom to test and report feedback, even tell us some features are crap.
-
Hmm true. UDC++ has it in the tag Crise. It's up to you.
-
What good does having total slots in tag?
-
It's impossible, their client does not send the amount of upload slots available to the hub, which is why it only displays on people who do this. theinvoker: this is why your feature request can't be done too.. However. Crise, we should put the number of slots available in the tag really.
-
If we implement a block IP feature, our client tag gets blocked ourselves.
-
That's because it only shows on pwdc users if they have it enabled.
-
This is what we're talking about.
-
The user's description in the userlist. :D
-
But we don't want it in the tag. It'll make it too long.
-
I don't think Crise has the knowledge to do this.
-
They're not ordered at all. Take a look at the new todo list, there's an area for future versions.
-
It means we have longer planning on ApexDC++ and experimental builds to get 1.0 right. :D
-
We've already looked at it, I don't think we're going to add it. Too much work.
-
Take a look Crise, it would be a nice optional feature. It only displays the one line..
-
What about other tags? You need to enable the feature by going to PeerWeb DC++ settings area and enabling "show extra information in description" (I know it's mislabed).

Invision Power Services recently published a new update of their popular board software that these forums run on. Therefore, today, I upgraded the forums to 2.1.5. This version fixes 50 bugs, meaning the forum's stability should be improved. You can find out what changes and fixes occurred by visiting their announcement. An another forum related note; I uploaded some new emoticons for members to use on the forums. Work continues on ApexDC++, with great input from our members. BeertjeWit submitted a request, displaying flags not only in the transfer view, but to improve it further by displaying them on the user list. This is definitely something we'll consider implementing. Another popular request is the option to pause files that appear in the transfer view instead of going to download queue > set priority. The ratio command will be available in the client due to the feature being used regulary with PeerWeb DC++. Check out the full list of features expected for 1.0 (please note the list may increase over time - it's not finalised). Graphical concepts have come a long nicely. Inkorp has been working hard producing logo concepts for ApexDC++ and we'll reveal them - along with splash screens - soon! :w00t: Update: Image concepts have been been posted in the Beta/Donator area. Once selections have been made, a public show-off will be posted. :)

You didn't say that when I installed it. :blushing: ;)
-
That would be great. :blushing:

In the description of the user... this is shown "{x/y}" x being the number of slots available y being the total numbers of slots set
-
This is shown in the {x/y} description...
