  1. Disable PFS?

The only way to do it would be to disable segment downloading completely. Even then I'm not 100% confident it will disable PFS. The reason it works this way is pretty straight forward: you should always share what you download.
  2. finished uploads chunks/files mess

This will be reworked for 2.0. :)
  3. release 1.5.2 brings requested fixes

It will make an appearance again, don't worry. :)
  4. Backup button

Hello MrRobin, You don't need to restore your favourites each time. Whether you use the setup file to upgrade or the Slim package, it won't touch your favourites and will keep them. Regarding the request though: I would like to see a backup and restore option in the File menu... maybe it'll creep its way into 2.0. :)
  5. Can not connect to internet hubs.

You should try ADC-Fun hub and see if it connects, as this is an encrypted connection that your ISP may not block.
  6. Imagine from a hub admin's perspective that you had 1,000 ApexDC users online and 5% of them get disconnected and try to hammer the address every second. This is going to cause some aggro ;)
  7. Apex Crashing

Please post this into the tracker. I would suggest upgrading to 1.5.1 as well.
  8. how do i disable pruning

Thanks, we will look into fixing. :)
  9. how do i disable pruning

If the user is offline the file is removed?
  10. how do i disable pruning

It prunes all files that have been moved from the download folder.
  11. Files seem to disappear from download queue

Downgrade by simply running the 1.5.0 setup file and point it to your installation directory. I may have experienced a similar issue and had a WTF moment... so I'll keep an eye on it.
  12. Files seem to disappear from download queue

Does apexdc.exe appear in Task Manager when you quit the program? If you downgrade back to 1.5.0 do you encounter this issue?
  13. Good Job

Just wait for 2.0. If you want access to our Linux builds, PM me...
  14. Files seem to disappear from download queue

Hmm, not something I've noticed. It's usually when it closes/crashes and doesn't have a chance to save queue. Is the directory read only? When quitting, does the process stay in task manager?
  15. release A small 1.5.1 update and FlexHub

Hehe, there has been some nice statements from people involved and I'm excited about what we can do. Hopefully we'll see over the next few months more people give FlexHub a try. Btw, looks like you were hit the forum's 30,000th post. ;)
  16. We are pleased to push 1.5.1 as a minor maintenance release and announce our partnership with FlexHub to bring you a new encrypted ADCS hub hosted by TAN. Flexhub is an upcoming hubsoft that aims to please both NMDC and ADC users by allowing them to connect to the same hub. Benefits of FlexHub include easy migration from NMDC to ADC, encrypted communication and transfers, friendly hub controls and active developers. Any hub owners who are tired of using the same old and outdated hub software should give this a try. We will be working closely with the FlexHub Dev team in order to bring new features requiring hubsoft support in 2.0. If you haven't already tried FlexHub, you can download it here (compatible with Windows and Linux). All existing 1.5.0 users will be prompted to auto update soon. For those who are impatient, you can head over to our download page.
  17. We are now hiring

Due to the recent OpenCandy integration and our Google AdSense partnership, we are now in a position to offer paid work. We want to provide ApexDC++ 2.0 across multiple platforms and have a brand new website to show for it. We have created a jobs page with a summary of roles that are needed - all of which are paid. This ranges from programmers to help port to Linux/Mac, website design work, graphics for the program and website. The priority here is the Linux port, but we're also wanting graphics for 2.0. Check out the available jobs and see if you can help us. What could be better than having simultaneous releases across Windows, Linux and Mac? Know a Linux/Mac developer? Let us know on the forums or through our email. If you're a programmer and want to negotiate a price, please email us aswell.
  18. release A small 1.5.1 update and FlexHub

What have you done with your life that's so great? Remember these guys do this in their spare time because they enjoy it. It may not be able to hold as many as verlihub, but the developers have stated this is not their goal. ApexDC has been in continuous development for 6 years, so why does it matter how long it takes? The project can grow, introduce more features and fix bugs regularly - this is what a new project does. You heard from somebody? Well that tells us everything Go test it yourself and if you're feeling in a productive mood please report these bugs directly to the developers so they can auto update the hubs with fixes.
  19. release A small 1.5.1 update and FlexHub

Thank you for your kind words so far. I'm sure FlipFlop and his team are appreciating the feedback as much as us. We can't wait to get started! Hello harrie, I will make sure the relevant people see your post. I think you're point is about why the Google bot is shown as registered and not guest? It's a good point and maybe TAN will fix it. We have always been proud partners to TAN since the early stages of PeerWebDC so this should not make you quit Please keep an open mind and give FlexHub a try as we would love to hear your feedback. You can use this opportunity to test the auto update process built into FlexHub - this is especially important as it keeps our network running the latest software available.
  20. release A small 1.5.1 update and FlexHub

Here is the full address following the KEYP specification: adcs://adcfun.com:2780/?kp=SHA256/ICKEZPZNX3NG64JSMNT5JUULMYD4UPCMJTLKKF7DLM6XCOHMI77Q [/CODE] All you need to do is copy this address to favourites or use File > Quick Connect. There is more discussion and information regarding KEYP and how it's useful for over at the FlexHub forums. See you in there. ;)
  21. The reason behind it was that any completed downloads would be immediately removed from share. This had a negative impact on users downloading from partial sources (you would see the whole swarm of users be removed from queue very quickly). With the file remaining in download queue, it was still shared for everybody. The way 1.5.0 is set up is exactly how torrents work - you must remove the file from queue to stop sharing. The process has been refined in 1.5.1, which should be released soon.
  22. We are already trying it. ^_^
