How to install the PeerGuardian plugin This guide explains in simple form how to enable the PeerGuardian plugin so it is no longer greyed out within ApexDC++. You can use this guide with clients based on ours, such as IceDC++. Note that this PeerGuardian plugin is compatible with 0.2.0-0.4.0. In 1.0.x, it is built into the program. Follow the steps below and you'll have it enabled in no time: Download the plugin files (requires archive program such as WinRAR) Extract the plugin to Program Files/ApexDC++/ (root directory) Restart ApexDC++ Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Security and enable the plugin The program will now be blocking any IP addresses in the block list. Statement of problem Many users receive Downloaded tree does not match TTH root while downloading files. Usually when a user updates his/her client to the latest version it may cause the hashdata to become corrupt and therefore have corrupt TTH. Solution Close program. Delete hashdata.dat and hashindex.xml located in the Program files\ApexDC++\Settings folder. Restart program - your share will be rehashed The problem should no longer exist. ^_^

If you already have PeerGuardian2 running in your system tray, there is no need for ApexDC to block the same IP's. If that isn't the case, have you updated the blocklist?

Looks like something is conflicting. How long have you gone without reformatting?

Hi Aztek, thanks for notifying us. Since you're a subscriber you'll still be able to acces our development builds when you return. I will remove your tester status now. Thanks for helping us. :)

We're still looking for people who are willing to contribute.

You should tell him ApexDC++ is the continued version. We released on Christmas day last year so maybe you're in luck. :)

SourceForge just recorded that we've surpassed 700,000 program downloads. This figure is only from files hosted on our official download site, so other sites hosting the files do not count. Still, it's a decent amount of downloads considering only a month ago we reached 500,000 downloads.
-
But that's your country. Anyway, I don't want to get into a debate about this. PM me if you wish.
-
Note: We do not condone using ApexDC++ to download/upload copyright material.
-
Looks like we're going to have to think about some celebrations. ;)
-
Is this a new film just out at cinemas?
-
We probably have had over 1 million downloads if you include external sites that host our program without linking to SF.
-
That's probably incorrect. But we're not counting uniques here, just total sourceforge downloads.

New game on the forums to provide some fun while people are bored requesting features: Rules 1. You may post a screenshot of a distinguishing feature for the particular DC++ client of choice, or a logo of the client or a revealing description of it. 2. Private DC++ clients cannot be posted. 3. The member who guessed correctly must then post a new logo, screenshot or description. Results The first successful guess gives the member one point. 1. Spyke - 4 =1. RadoX - 4 2. Greg - 1 Do not make it too difficult - it's just a bit of fun! :(

Upgraded to IPB 2.3.2, there's a lot of bug fixes in this release.

Try ESET Smart Security RC1, or their new standalone Antivirus.
-
Probably a bug in IPB. :)

Relax. We're only stating what we see ApexDC++ as, not telling you to change it in your client list. This blah blah blah shit is childish, Toast.
