Please report the crash here, otherwise we can't fix it for 1.2.x. The Don't announce new ApexDC++ versions works when we do not force an update. We only do this when the version used is outdated and harms the network.

You must download the latest version, we have far too many users on old, bug and security riddled versions. This is why we force the update, we do not want old users staying on these versions. If you do not wish to upgrade because of the lack of IP Blocker, simply download the PeerGuardian client. :)

Whoever custom compiled it should have removed the official update check link.

We DON'T encourage downloading copyrighted files, and I'll be the first to ban anybody who admits that. But we provide a program that connects to hubs, and thus, we're recommending reliable hubs to our users. No discussion of content will be in the topic. Nobody will be posting "best mp3 hub", which is what I was originally trying to explain. If that becomes a problem, we'll remove it. I know all about "anti-p2p" groups sending hosts take down notices, don't worry about that. :)

Just report the post if there's any of your hubs left. Other people would still want their hubs listed here because they submitted them to the topic.

I'll remove the offending material and bring it back within a few days. We don't want to encourage users to go to specific hubs for certain files, but the how popular the hub is.

We don't support it under wine, so it's pot luck basically. Try disabling popups and any features that aren't required.

Could you send me your settings through a PM JohnD, and I'll see whether I can get it to crash. Also, does your ApexDC++ have admin privileges? Could be related to your 64-bit. I wonder if somebody with 64-bit Vista could try and reproduce the crash.

Currently, there is a seleclion between using the old method, and the new (go to Settings -> General). There are 4 versions of the person (user icon) - green, yellow, warning icon, red - and a mine icon Green: 5M upload and above Yellow: 0.1M - 2M upload Red: 0.01M - 0.1M upload Warning icon: 0.005M (very slow) Mine: User has uploaded at constant 100kB/s or above

We would like to thank all our testers and the support of our community during this period. Invision Power have recently announced their IPB 3.0.0 test board for everyone to visit. You can test out new features or just take a look at the new theme here. I believe you have to be an IPB customer to register on the forums though. Obviously we're going to be looking into upgrading our own forums once it hits final, so what do you guys reckon?

Not when we have a perpetual IPB license. We can continue to update our board for the next 100 years. ;)

The Lua Plugin comes equipped with multiple different script files that will be useful for 1.2.0 users. How it install Simply extract the rar file to the root ApexDC++ folder, so the plugins and script folders are below it. Download: New version is here. ;)
