Over the past five years, we have been releasing program versions without up to date translations for our foreign users. We're looking to change that by offering the latest translation file for a group of volunteers who wish to provide official translations that we offer on our main site. This will provide everybody with the latest version of their preferred language on release day. Translators will receive access to private beta versions of the program while they offer their free time to translate our product. If you wish to help out, please reply to this announcement on the forums or PM me with previous translations you have done for ApexDC++. Preferential treatment will be given to active members and those who have already provided translations in the past.

Ah yes, my bad. If you open queue.xml they should be in there. Just back up that file if so and reinstate it after the restart.

What happens when you run older version? I'm thinking it might be other users fault... they have configured their connection correctly.

Nope, just what segment they are after. It could be modified to send total data downloaded too, to help in this situation.

I believe there is an option somewhere regarding keeping filelists in download queue on restart.

Yeah, it's not his fault. But as the owner of ADCPortal, you should send people to it rather than scare them off. That attitude of yours does not help any of us - why not just forward them on politely to ADCPortal? That blog post was made 31/08/2009, you can't expect everyone to have read it and understand where to go for suggestions. burek: interesting post but I would recommend posting it over at ADCPortal if Toast hasn't annoyed you too much.

Yeah, the reason for this is the random segmentation approach. It's not possible to determine how much the uploader has currently, but we'll look into it for 2.0.

Make sure you run cmd in admin mode. Right click > administrator

If you've only upgraded from a minor version there hasn't been any changes relating to this. dcppboot.xml is most likely your problem - unless you didnt use the installer? It points your settings to AppData rather than using ApexDC++/Settings

Yes, please delete dcppboot.xml in your ApexDC++ folder and it should work.

Hey, You need to make sure you have the TCP, UDP, TLS ports forwarded in the connection settings page. Double check that your IP address is correct. Are you sure the hub you are trying to connect to is online?

Do you have the limiter enabled? Just wondering if your bandwidth is saturated because you're in active mode.

We have released a security update to protect users from being directed to potential fake hubs through Openhublist and also removed the old AML client detection URL so nobody can misuse it. Users are open to being fed false information through both methods. This is a critical security update that every user should fix by downloading 1.3.8. There are a few other changes mentioned including encryption enabled by default and improvements to crash reporting system. We have skipped 1.3.7 because it is a fake version based on 1.3.6 and removes limiter rules. We advise all hub owners and operators to ban it. Download: ApexDC++ 1.3.8
