thank you all for your support. i will look into this a little more. maybe i find someone with enought experiance in symbian OS programing to help you out with this matter. btw. there already is a torrent client for symbOS, so it would just be fair if dc had one :)

tnx for the link. i have a small knowlage of c / c++. maybe with the guidence from the site you posted i will be able to make a dc client for symbian. (using source code of apex or some other client) doh i doubt that allmost completely. it would be best if i put all my effort in begging the development team here to make it oh please oh please oh please oh well.. at least i have one person that agrees with me :)

well many mobile phones wich use symbian os 9.1 (s60v3) have WLAN ! unfortuantelyy don't support some protocols, but with a regualr wep or wpa encription the wlan works properly. meaning, that with a simple dc++ client the user could easily dl any file he wishes. the only thing that concerns me is the size of the text maybe the hubs main channel shouldn't be previewed without selecting it first. there already is mobileDC, but its for older versions of symbianOS. maybe you guys can use it for guidence? oh well.. i gave you something to think about. please give it a thought. if its not too much of a problem for you guys to make an ultra lite edition of apex just for symbian... thank you for your time! greets from croatia!

How about making a lite version of apex for soooo many symbian users?! If only i had programming experiance.. i would try to port (what ever that means) apex for symbian s60v3 Please tell me what you guys think about this. ok.. so i'm using a .4.0 version of apexdc++... its still the best stable version of the client. but everytime i open apex an anoying popup comes up.. the update popup so i was thinking.. wouldn't it be nice to remove the popup...? is there an option to do so? if so please tell meeeeee and if not.. then i SUGGEST we put an option for enable/disable the silly popup... thank you for your time. and i apologuise for possible grammer mistakes and if i put this post in a bad place or so... admins correct me if i did something wrong.. thank you again, and i hope to see some anwsers :)

hello everyone! i have a little sugestion... and that is: when you download a file from someone, you can check his IP. but when you already downloaded the file and look in the finished downloads the IP is not shown there! i don't know if i'm just blind, or i have to do something to put the IP tab there, but it would be a nice change to see the IP in the downloaded files section. thats all.. sry if i screwed something up, put this in the wrong place or made any other mistake! cheers to you all and hope to see some replies soon!

**noob alert** hello everyone! first of all i'd like to wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year! second.. i'd like to sugest something to improve apex! hers what i had in mind... when you copy, paste a text you wrote in a chat.. you cannot copy the smileys i think it would be nice if we would be able to copy the smileys also when you copy text that has a smiley in it, the space where the smiley was remains empty when you paste the text! just an idea... i'd apretiate feedback! thank you!

**alert! alert! newbie commenting!** hello there! i would just like to say that i like the new tool bar look! but.. there is a little problem! the icons aren't totally transparent! the edges of the icons have little white stripes, and i can see those because i don't have the default theme set on windows. it would be nice if you guys would fix this! thank you! btw i have a screenshot of the "bug", just msg me if u'd like to see it, i'll send it to you by mail, or something! thank you! i'd apretiate feedback!
