Did you install it from the binary or the setup? Which account did you install/extract it from?

STL is a type of protocol used during DC. TBH, this points to a Port Fowarding problem to me. Try changing yourself into passive and see if it rectifies the problem (post if you cant do this). If so, we've hit the issue and I'll try best to can to fix it.

TBH, I THINK, altho I could be wrong, DC checks file structure when you load it. If you add folders while it's running it wont see them. New folders that is, not ones that are moved.

Also, if that dont ring any bells, are the filelists actually finishing? (i.e. being removed from DL queue).

I think the idea of not having it selecting is to promote choice. I guess if peerweb was default no one would change it.

I would like to apply Lee. I have more time on my hands now and you know I know DC. I enjoy answering queries and have more than enough time now. I have been an administrator on my clan CS forum for close to 10 years now. So i'm comfortable with the controls. Check my activity recently and you'll see how active I have been.

Seems to be running smooth for me. Ain't crashed once. Whereas B2 crashed after 10 mins.... :)

Yeh VLC would be a good idea. I know a lot of people use it.

You could right click and have 'connect to users last known hub'. Which, in theory, is great, but having said that, for someone like me, who queues up sometimes hundred's of files and leave the pc for weeks on end. It'd haul the ass outta even my 2Gb RAM.

Well, the problem with this is, spammers and hub flooders would have a field day.

It's seems like an 'ok' idea. But I don't like the real-time suggestion. I would rather allow users to enter their own stats.

I downloaded everything and anything. I use DC for everything I want to download tbh. It's always my first resort. I have downloaded well over 2Tb from it in my time and also uploaded nearly as much.

Sorry seeker!! No I feel ignorant :shifty: hehe.....yeh, i used to just stay connected all the time, didn't have the need to disconnect because I never used my pc for anything other than inet. So I didn't need to free up the bandwidth for gaming or anything. B)
