It was both... 1.00 RC10 :(
-
Weird, that it's not in search window, but it's available in filelist windows... should be done already.
-
I'd really appreciate this feature too, because I am getting disconnected about 2 times a day, and if I'm not here, my download are blocked, because I get a different IP.

Hello, I'd like to request a small thing in the Search Window... In the window where you select hubs, all hubs are ticked by default, and also there's 'Only where I'm op'. So far I didn't find a method to deselect all the selected hubs (not unticking each of them one by one, of course). So it would be good if there were a feature I could select one hub with a click. Let me explain: for example using the right mouse button - when I click on a hub with RMB the hub gets ticked and the other hubs unticked as well (so it's kinda 'reverse selecting'). Beleive me it would come very useful sometimes! (Sorry if this has came up before, or if it could be done, just I couldn't find out how)

Yup, we've been a bit driven off from the original request...

Brilliant response Grogs, well done. :(

"SDC++ 1.0" that means StrongDC++ 1.00? Is it RC10? Could be that, it's bugged as far as I know.
-
Not sure if exact size would work, I have files that are exactly equal in size (and content), but have different THH.

Tell him/her to change to ApexDC++ :P

I told you not to use those & and # and w/e chars before prefixes, but you didn't listen to the master... Not sure if it's the client's/hub's fault since I ( &#[Tiger]Noctis

Hey, TYRRAM, have you read the rules of TGO? (+rules in mainchat, for those who are not perfect also included in MOTD)? §03 » Don't share installed program files So if you shared installed program files, you violated the rules... I assume you are a regged user. I don't know if you are referring to me as incompletent/blunt etc., but I always warn regged users, especially for a lighter issue like this, either with !warn or direct PM. Anyways I don't think that OPs in TGO and ApexDC not working are connected... Secondly, I made my point about the auto-checking there, since lotta users getting there are completely new to DC and don't have a clue on what's going on... But I am not owner or whatever to enforce anything in the name of my opinion, sorry ^_^

This speedtest showed the results I'd supposed to see, and in the test I included above, the server I used is in my country (in the capital). I am running uTorrent for some testing now: download speed isn't going higher than 55 kB/s - 440 kb/s , in fact it is under 50 kB/s mostly... I wonder how MiRaGe is doing, this topic is to help him after all :D
-
Thanks Z. I did three test, all were between 400 and 600 kbps in download (581 the highest download), with nothing but browser (FF) running... (uploads were about 100-110 kbps). Here's the last one: PS.: the wugnet one speedtest worked fine before, and showed the speed I am supposed to have.
-
Check out this (I used this to do it) :crying: My speed is (supposed to be ) 1280kbps/160kbps (see the picture and comply... ) When I did the test I only had Windows Live Messenger logged on with on conversation window, and the browser with the speedtest Seems like I need to call my great ISP... :pinch: :ermm:

Half of mines are written in the language of ApexDC++ (English), other half is written in the language of the OS (Hungarian). I'd make them all be written in English...

Hiya MiRaGe! The weird thing for me about this that you are not connected back to the hubs automatically... It's not that unusual if a hub drops you, but you can reconnect right after. Your problem is definietly not the fault of the hubs. Hmmm... The fact is that I am having the same problems since this weekend... Exactly the same. First the bittorrent client gone "wild", all the trackers not seem to work ("connection closed by peer", not mentioning that the bittorrent client simply kills the traffic of DC if it's running), and in DC, I experienced exactly the same: I turn on my computer when I wake up, start DC, leave the computer running, and when I come home, all hub tabs are staring red at me - all hubs are disconnected and "...Connection timeout", and I can't even reconnect them manually, I need to reconnect the whole internet connection (or even reset/reboot modem to make it work correctly). This started this weekend for me, and got intense on Monday, yesterday... Considering that we are fellow Hungarians, and we are in the same country... it looks like our lines are screwed... I think we are not at the same ISP. Hmmm... weird, that's for sure. I don't know the answer or solution to this problem yet, but I think that it's definitely our internet connection's ===> ISP's fault... Maybe the lines here in Hungary have some issues, downcycle, whatever - they are not supposed to be. Anyways it's good to see that someone has the same problem, so I don't have to blame myself or my PC (). I hope that one of us can find out what is the source of the problem, and the solution, or it will be sorted by tomorrow (sounds impossible)...

Not really, Zlobomir was trying to find an alternate way. But as we talked in PM in TGO, if the hub has the +report command, it can be solved that way.
-
I think the site has some pretty good and useful guides, and also the Support part of the forum. If you ask me ApexDC++ can manage without a Wiki. ;)

The in-built connection checker is not working properly, it always gives an error. You can try www.canyouseeme.org instead. ;)
-
!opm sends the message only to OPs, but the problem is, that not through (to) OpChat but in PM via the hubbot. It will be visible in opchat that the message was sent, but it could be a bit spammy. ;)
-
LOL! !pm is mass message to everyone in YnHub, Z, you already tried it, and I told you it doesn't work, if you use that everyone will get a message from the hubbot: "%[opchat] check <%[userNI]> %[userI4] for : %[userCT] %[userCS]" !pm doesn't send a message to a single user bot every one of them in the hub... (and not into opchat) ;)

About TGO, this problem is related to TGO for non-regged users, Sidey is working on it already.

I had this problem with CZDC++ or StrongDC++ RC10 a long time ago. I was downloading a 2 disc movie (which quality was poor ), and the last 1 or 2 MiBs of the file took more than 2-3 days do download, however it only occured with one user, the other never had a slot open... ;)
