That may be learn, but English is one of the easiest languages to learn. I couldn't image how would I learn Russian for one. Hungarian is considered to be the 2nd hardest language to learn (the first by some opinions.)

Yeah, and it doesn't occupy an extra slot or something like that... "What you download others might want too." But if you have a share that is "popular" enough (meaning you always have waiting users), you won't be uploading partial stuff too often.

I experience this sometimes too, but you can re-add sources in the Download Queue (right click on file > Readd source), and it's possible that you'll get a better speed eventually.

That looks like PFS (partial file-sharing) it's perfectly normal, it only affects your unfinished files, but they are not shared actually.

Umm, why is the right click menu in Finished Downloads so big anyways? I only have seven entries in mine. Never had this kind of error, but I'm on XP SP2.

I have some really terrible memories with hanging/freezing: back when I used R2++ (not long ago), it always froze without any rational reason (despite it's very buggy ), mostly when I was in settings and clicked OK or Cancel, or on About page etc. But it rarely came back. You can imagine what a releif was Apex after going through all that I'm getting some hangings too, but they are gone in a blaze for me, and don't occur often.

I started to learn English about 8 years ago, but I knew a lot of words from PC Games and apps already. A lot of people in my country speak English (well enough) but still use the Hungarian language file for DC. I tried some language file for a DC client (StrongDC++ I think), but it didn't work out for me. Sometimes I wasn't satisfied with the translations, or simply preferred it in English (there are some English words and phrases that just don't need translation, because it won't be perfect or it will sound dumb in Hungarian - especially slang, but not really the case now), and vice versa. And I love English anyways, so I always use English language file in every application (except OS, that came in my language). Can never have enough practice anways... :)

Ever listened to Cannibal Corpse? There are tracks that you can simply don't understand, even with reading lyrics with it. There are bands that I like because of their lyrics and there are bands that I like because of their music, and there's a combination of it, like In Flames. Knowing the lyrics can be disappointing or attracting, but I prefer to read them at least once, so I get a clue on what the song is trying to tell.

It appears that this can't be separated in the current version, but you might try setting Max Filelists to 0 (Settings\Advanced\Fake Detector\Advanced) at your own risk.

If you install a shareware or trial version and you crack it afterwards, the install of the program was legal. :P

It looks like a good idea, but I think it's not so important, because the handling of language files is easy enough if you ask me (well, newbies struggle with it first, but if they take the time to visit forums or read some FAQ, it's fine). I can imagine it as a minor tuning of the client. :P

You won't lose your hubs if you save a copy of Favorites.xml and replace a fresh, empty one with it, and/or you can save the whole Settings folder.

Please keep it English in the main section of the forums, you're welcome to post your bug report here, I'm not sure what language are you speaking, but I guess it's in the World Languages section.

Well, maybe if there will be a password generator (btw you can always use any other) it could be commented that you can fetch your passwords from Favorites.xml.

I talked about this with Crise a long time ago, and I also suggested to create a "start checking in all hubs" command but he said there is some difficulty with it. You need this if you are checking users on join. Sometimes when I was playing with checking I just selected all the users (or some of them) in the userlist in the hub then started checking on the from the right clicks, but that's not comfortable for the long term.

I don't expect or ask anyone to grant me a slot thus I don't grant slots as well.

I think it's not completley useless, sometimes I match queues with previously downloaded filelists (not equal to old), but I think that the "Match downloaded lists" feature is sufficient for it.

A comment about Enable $HubTopic support in Advanced Settings Explained (11st page): this feature exists in YnHub too, it's not enabled by default however. Not sure if the Verlihub one can be customised but the YnHub one can send the hub topic (set by !topic) or the hub description (the one that you see in hublist) to your client (basically you can set it to send anything you want as Hub Topic ).

Try opening ports for ApexDC++ in Windows Firewall and use Firewall with UPnP (WinXP+ only) mode in Connection Settings (inside Settings), and make sure you enter the port numbers to the appropriate fields. It should work (don't forget to restart your client after you have made changes and enter your IP in the IP field).

This is just a hint and would be more fitting to a global/overall guide/FAQ.

If [8M/400K] is true in your description then the above statement is not true, because my connection is weaker and I'm about 40 hubs usually. Except if you stress your connection with other things.
