  1. Apex failed to create port mappings

Hi Lee and thanks for your prompt response. Meanwhile, with the help of my internet service provider, I selected in my router settings the so called DMZ Host, so that - as far as my router is concerned - I don't have to open any ports. However, I still had to open ports in the Windows Firewall and I did so , however it didn't help: I am still getting that "Failed to create port mappings. Setup your NAT yourself" notice. Could you, please, guide me how "to setup my NAT". In your response you mentioned a guide which should help me get into active mode, however, when I clicked on that word guide I came to something entirely else. Could you please send me the link to that guide. Thanks tibist
  2. Hi, My operating system is XP Home Edition (updated) and my version of Apex is 1.21. I have the Winfows Firewall and Siemens Router SL2-141 After installing ApexDC, when I tried to open the program there appeared the following message: " Failed to create port mappings. Setup your NAT yourself". I cliked OK, whereupon ApexDC opened. I clicked on File > Setting and saw no TCP or UDP nubers (whether I sellected "Firewall with UPnP", "Firewall with manual port forwarding" or "Direct connection". I have no idea how to "setup my NAT". Anyway, I tried to solve the problem by entering the TCP and UDP numbers I saw in one of my friends ApexDC program (that friend also has the Windows Firewall and the same Router I have got). Next, I opened those port numbers in my Windows Firewal and in My Siemens Router. Unfortunatly, it didn't help - meaning I am unable to find any file whatsoever (not even a single setup.exe file). Please help me to solve the above mentioned problem. Thanks tibist
