Aha... ich habe die Links nicht geprüft... Pardon. Ich werde ein Admin kontaktieren. In der Zwischenzeit, du kannst die Datei von Beilage dieses Post herunterladen. ApexDC_1.4.2_German.xml.7z

No, port range is not neccessary. Also, the port numbers may be the same as long as they differ in being TCP or UDP. From the picture you've posted, I understand you've mapped a whole outside port range to a single port on your host computer, and that's not needed :)

Dieses übersetzungsfile sollte funktionieren. Jedesmal, du kannst die neueste übersetzungsfiles von ApexDC++ Main page -> Customise herunterladen.

The CSV file and flags are only a display issue. You should still be able to access those users and still see their IP address but without a flag. If you can't see their IP address and it shows Connecting... all the time then you've got a connectivity issue. Hope the new router sets everything right...

You really have a lot of strange problems. About the GeoIP database, use the menu item Help -> GeoIP database update and extract the downloaded CSV file to ApexDC++ root directory (not under Settings or anywhere else) and restart Apex. Anyway, this does not have to do anything with your inability to download from users without flag... and that is weird.

Duplicate files (with the same TTH) aren't counted towards your total share size... maybe that would explain that. Also, it is possible to configure not to share system/hidden files. Maybe the setting is on in one program and off in another.
-
when a client closes unexpectedly, most hubs still keep a "shadow" of it until certain timeout - that would explain the issue with nick already taken. However, about your port issue, I have no idea... well... aren't you using some security software which would monitor traffic and think Apex is still running and hold the port open for it? I really don't know, just guessing here...

If ports are still open then Apex must be still running. I am pretty sure that the OS frees any handles used by a program after it is closed (normally or unexpectedly). Look in Task Manager when this happens, if you can see ApexDC(-x64).exe there.

I have seen some such users in the past - but not with ApexDC++ tag. Well, malware authors are learning fast I guess it's not a legitimate client, just some malware visiting hubs and spreading by sharing itself. You could see if the description is not always the same and ban upon that. Or maybe it changes only to a few distinct values...
-
So when an apex user tries to download a filelist from another apex user, the first one gets banned? Or the second one? and what is the ban reason? (there usually is one, well...)
-
No, there is not. This is Bulgarian support subforum so if you don't understand their language, you have nothing to gain here :)

Thanks, Lee, nice to hear that :o

How can I download and upload by ApexDC++ ? Help me!
Mek replied to tsthunderstream's topic in Support
For start, you can try this forum section. -
I know. I already suggested this but it was denied.
-
Good, good... but do you really have to change the forum skin so often? It takes some time to catch up with any new one... aren't the skins from previous IPB versions reusable?

Not all versions have that "serious bugs" as the message states. It's just there to force upgrading to users and displays still the same "horrific" message across versions. For detailed information of all the versions, see the changelog.

I think if there was a better option (not requiring forwarding of more ports) then it would have been already implemented. Somebody prove me wrong Just your opinion. There is nothing bad about segmented downloading unless all people have 100Mbit down/up with 1 upload slot. For me it is preserved. I don't remember changing anything in the settings, though. Do you think about something like IP blocker? There was one in Apex but it got removed because there "are" better solutions - software devoted to doing just that. But according to my research (at that time, at least) nothing was feasible (I remember PeerGuardian appeared not to be maintained anymore - at least not supporting 64bit OS) There is a setting somewhere in Options but I couldn't find it now at a quick glance - well, there are many checkboxes but I know it is there This is a problem in NMDC hubs because the client does not have a way of knowing it is the same user. ADC improves this by implementing CID - a unique identifier of a user. I don't use ADC often so I can't tell you if Apex allows uploads/downloads from the same user on more hubs. Maybe someone else can clarify that.

Ak nie, nastav si Passive mode (worst case) a malo by to fungovat.

No hubs are added in Apex by default. You must have them in your favorites (and added it there yourself) and you lost your favorites by accident when upgrading. I am afraid I cannot help you more.
-
Sorry I can't help you, I didn't know that hub and if it is not in the hublists there seems to be no way of finding it again. Maybe ask an operator from there if you see him operating another hub?
-
I can only see the Czech one there. Was there a Slovak one too?
-
Uh, never seen this before but could give a shot... try messing with the numbers in Settings - Advanced - For experts (or something like that), there are socket buffer sizes and such, try increasing them.
