  1. Shared showing 0 B available

    It is the concern of the hub how it displays the share size of its users. My guess would be that your client sends the full share size but the hub resends a zero to the other users including you. Try with a different hub.
  2. Hashing at startup

    If you have a slow/fragmented disk or an older PC, 30-40 seconds to start ApexDC seem to be normal. Beside other things, it checks whether all the shared files are still in the same place as they are in the filelist so it takes a while to seek them on the disk.
  3. ApexDC++ Translations

    Slovak language file for 1.2.0 - see the attachment ApexDC_slovak.xml
  4. Stealing of users

    ookay, so, most probably it is not a new bug but it is the older one from October 08 (I think). I will tell the hub owner to fix it.
  5. Stealing of users

    Hi all, I am an OP on a hub with 1300+ users. Today, everything was working as usual but suddendly I got redirected to some crappy Polish hub (it is called "devil team"). At first I was like wtf? :whistling: Then I returned to "my" hub and saw that nearly 1000 users were gone. They were redirected to that Polish hub as well. I had a chat with our hub owner and he told me that Verlihub has a bug which was exploited by these Polish bastards to steal users from other hubs. Looks like we were not the only ones since there were more people complaining about this sort of stuff on the Polish hub main chat (of course the operators denied everything). I have googled and searched, but didn't find any information about this bug, also Verlihub forums are dead, as is the official hub. So, guys, does any of you recognize this situation? Might it be a bug in the clients, accepting the $ForceMove command from other hosts than the hub, or might the code be broken somehow to allow execution of this redirection part of code? Or, which is more probable, is this a bug in Verlihub? I don't know... Tell me what you think about it... :thumbsup:
  6. xs1, it is not odd in any way. There is written "Bind address", 0.0.0.0 means "bind to all network interfaces". If you had multiple network interfaces, you could use a separate ApexDC client for each of them by setting this Bind address. I have experience that users mostly put the wrong IPs in there since they don't know what Bind address means, in fact, it is one of the most problematic settings. There should be a help balloon or "?" button explaining to users that they don't need to change the Bind address in most cases.
  7. Feature request: Make extra slot count settings in the properties of a favorite hub - these would add to the global slot count set in ApexDC settings and would be available to the users in this particular hub only. Useful for intranet hubs :whistling: //edit: another feature request: make the list of uploaded/downloaded files scroll just like the main chat - toggle off automatic scrolling when user scrolled up manually.
  8. Pause hashing button

    Looks like the Pause hashing button (in the hashing progress window) does not work - hashing continues as usual but no information about it is displayed in this window - there is "Paused" written in the window but hashing is not paused :whistling:
  9. have you read the wikipedia link about coral cdn? :thumbsup: just remove the ".nyud.net" part of hublist address to disable coral :whistling:
  10. oookay, so what about my next request? is it accepted? :whistling:
  11. Yes, yes, I know. But what if you have only one TCP and one UDP port to be active? (and can only have these two forwarded). You would need another TCP port for TLS connection (if I understand correctly). Is there a "how to get active" guide dealing with this fact? Btw. another feature request: Userlist filter works when pressing a key. Make it work on right mouse click - paste and right mouse click - delete too :crying:
  12. Don't use TLS as default (for example when connecting to StrgDC++ 2.21), since then you cannot connect to these clients. I guess you need to forward another port in your firewall when you want to use TLS. It has been discussed in some other thread here as well.
  13. en_dator, excuse me, what is "coral"? Never heard of it before...
  14. My hublists work fine as well. Do you use a firewall? Try turning it off...
  15. Creating an ApexDC account

    ApexDC does not manage any accounts, the hubs do. If you were not registered in any hubs then just change your nick in the settings and you are ready to go. If you were registered on some hubs, your login information to these hubs were stolen too so just ask the operators to clear the password for your account so you can set it again.
  16. Error message

    Set your connection type according to the truth, you don't have 0.005 Mbit/s upload, noone has... it's really a dumb connection type :crying:
  17. Yeah, I found the little Winamp bar useful and would like to see its comeback in a from of a plugin :)
  18. Web Interface

    do you have it turned on? and check firewall settings, some firewalls are blocking connections to localhost.
  19. apexdc exceptions bug

    I don't think there is useful info in the report you posted... also keep in mind windows 7 is still beta so it might be a windows bug which gets fixed in the final version.
  20. oh, really? I didn't know that... I thought that there are always the latest versions in official package repositories Well, then to compile the client yourself would be best idea :)
  21. You can get linuxdcpp in a package pre-compiled for your system - for ex. Debian: sudo apt-get install linuxdcpp (or whatever is the package name).
  22. ApexDC++ Translations

    Attached is Slovak translation by UnknowUserSk corrected by me. The original author does not care about it anymore (he wrote me that in an e-mail). ApexDC_slovak.xml
  23. Downloading from non-hashing client

    I am constantly kicking (as an op) users with these prehistoric clients. I would suggest blocking upload to them so they have a fair reason to upgrade. Blocking download from them seems irrational :D
  24. ApexDC runs pretty well under Wine.
  25. Sharesize

    Use the Sharing dialog tab under Preferences to check the folders you want to share.
