For me, /r is working well - just tried it.
-
Yes, yes. I don't use ESS. Anyway, I saw somebody actually downloading from me and the hub name was "DHT". So I suppose it was working but why the DHT was shut down and then restored again and again...?

We know that. Is fixed in the new version.

Convert your external drive to NTFS - FAT32 cannot store files above 4 GB.

Filelists are downloaded into Settings/Filelists subdirectory of the main Apex directory. So it's up to you where you put ApexDC so that it has write permissions :)
-
So the users of the new Apex have problems getting file lists from some other users (Browse file list works, though). The file list gets downloaded but it is opened and immediately closed. I think that there is some invalidity in the file list xml file. So far I know of three users from our LAN who we are unable to get filelist from. Two are using LinuxDC++ (0.698 and 0.75) and one DC++ 0.7091. I am attaching a filelist of one of those, could you check what is wrong there? I guess this is a bug in the other clients generating invalid XML files which the new XML parser in Apex does not like...?

Look at the status bar in the bottom of the window. Among other information, there is "H: 0/3/4" for example. That means you are on 0 hubs as guest, 3 hubs reg or vip, and 4 hubs op :)

Check your firewall settings. Most firewalls bind the rules for allowing network traffic to a program based on its exe-file hash -- and that has changed with the new version of Apex, of course. Just guessing...
-
Just a sidenote - I noticed that when you use a slash ("/") in the name of usercommand, you can make nested menus for user commands. Might be useful.

My brother has problems with URL colors as well. It might have something to do with the settings of Explorer (or IE)...?
-
This has not happened to me, however... maybe you have directories with deep paths (more than 16) in your share - which the new xml parser does not like (will be fixed in the coming new version)...? Just guessing.

Thank you, the users were complaining a lot. Waiting for 1.3.1 :D
-
As stated in the changelog, TestSUR support has been removed.

Use the proper entities: " == " < == < > == > & == & //edit: the last one added

Looks like the XML file of the emopack is invalid. You can use the w3c validator to validate it and correct the errors. //edit: Crise was faster ;)

...sorry to quote myself but can anyone respond? Is it working or not? And how can I know it is working? Still noone from DHT has downloaded from me and I got no search results from DHT... Thanks in advance.

[1.3.0] You can't select multiple files in Finished Uploads/Downloads tab

soooo... what about this bug? Is it caused by very deep paths or by some special characters in file names? The 16 levels of nesting is a limit of ApexDC++ or of XML (I don't know about such a limit for XML). If it is the first one, why is it set to 16? How about increasing it?

Ah, I overlooked something. Try again. WinMessenger.xml

Hi, This bug is a white "delimiter" which looks very ugly (see the screenshot) in all lists. Can I set it so it does not appear as in previous versions? Btw, thank you for the feature of not having to refresh the filelist twice.

There is a checkbox in Settings - Advanced, something like "Don't do update check (version.xml is still downloaded)"
-
How about enabling search and viewing peoples profiles?

I would guess it's because the forum is running in "performance mode" now. This mode is supposed to lower the server load. -
Yes, I am. However, I can open my own filelist despite I am sure I am sharing files with diacritic names.
