Thanks for the answer.

So I see the two square brackets [] in the Hub column in the Finished uploads window. Is it a bug or what does it mean, can anyone shed some light on this issue? :)

Bump again. Anyway, I would like to know when the client searches in DHT? Does it only when searching by TTH for alternatives (automatically) or does it search when I do a search in the hubs I have checked the checkboxes to search? Also, would it be possible to add a checkbox to search the DHT among the hubs we are connected to? I didn't get any results nor downloaded anything from DHT yet, but sometimes I see an upload running so... just curious.

Well, I agree. I don't see a point why the new behaviour was needed.

I don't use MPC, I use AIMP (and it works with /w) Also, do you have the appropriate 64bit version of the plugin?
-
Download the newest Media Players plugin (the one I am using is version 2.00).

Don't put decimal numbers there. The numbers are in KiB so if you want to throttle download to 9 MiB/s put 9000 there (or a similar number).

We know (again and again) Should be sorted out in the next version. Also, there are threads about this problem already posted.

You are welcome. Seriously, this will be fixed in the new version. Plus, there are two or three threads like this already.

Hi, just a small cosmetic annoyance: when choosing "Remove all" from the context menu of a download in the download pane, a confirmation window opens and creates an item in the taskbar which should not be there imo

I can only see three columns in Search spy - the search query, count and time. But there are users on our LAN who use LDC++ (which is quite old version) and they can see the IP address as well. I would like to see it too, at least this IP address if not the nick directly Or make it available for me to see when I am OP only. What do you say?

Two finished uploads to DHT were displayed in the transfers pane and idle. (other than that, no other items were there). I clicked on one of them and chose "Get file list", the client tried to get the filelist and crashed while displaying "Requesting file list". From what it looks like, the exceptioninfo is useless, but, well... just to report this crash should be good enough :stuart:

OK, tried it again and now it shows this: My connection settings are attached to this post. The client was connected to 7 hubs, was in idle state and with no transfers running.
-
You can make Get filelist the default one in the settings :)

Hey, just curious about the passive-to-passive user connection. How does that work? I tried it in our university campus where we have no NAT (we get public IPs) but our IP addresses are firewalled by a keep-state firewall so passive mode is the only option. In this case, connection to passive users in passive mode didn't work - I suppose it has to do something with the "NAT Traversal". Would it be possible to support passive-to-passive connections even when no NAT is in effect?

Download the 7z archive instead of the installer. Apex does not need to be installed, it's enough just to unpack it. Then it will store its settings to its directory only.
-
That's because you left an installer setting "Store program settings in user data folder" (or something similar) checked.
-
Well, I never use "Browse file list"... But you can download the whole filelist and post it here as an attachment to help the developers debug the problem.
-
Just when the client was idle (no settings change or whatsoever). Maybe some uploads were running, I don't remember. But I can test it again when I am home where I have ports forwarded.
-
Check the settings of your download directories (mainly the directory for incomplete files) as it looks like Apex has no permission to write there.

Are you on NMDC or ADC hub? I tried it on NMDC, but just curious, maybe it doesn't matter...
