How about enabling search and viewing peoples profiles?
Crise replied to Dudenell's topic in Site Feedback
You are correct... we will eventually move out of the performance mode, but for now it stays enabled. -
Some users like to over organize their shares big time... so very deep filelists do exist out there

In a way the option to change window background color shouldn't even be there, as that can and should be changed in windows appearance settings... if you think about it how many apps have built in option to override the window background color like this? Not many... many chat apps allow you to customise the text display or use a background image and things like that but only few allow you to set the background color for windows like StrongDC and ApexDC etc. do (at least from the programs which I have used).
-
Yeah it does nothing... I just forgot to remove it Edit: although it can be made to do something (and DC++ still has this option, though, so we might just as well keep it)

Unfortunately I can only assist you in English...

The new xml parsing is stricter in terms of xml validity and otherwise... please see that there are no markup errors in your xml file (as explained in the post above).

Thanks will make a note of this...

This is known issue the 64bit installer was prepared in hurry. This will be resolved before next release .

You need to use the boot options (dcppboot.xml) to disable the "local mode" Read more about it here: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~dcplusplus-team/dcplusplus/trunk/annotate/head%3A/dcppboot.xml (please note, however, that since this is from regular DC++ the option in the installer mentioned does not exists in ours), but otherwise disabling local mode manually will have the effect you are looking for. Also eventually we will disable local mode by default but we decided it was best not to do that just yet.

Make sure you have: a) updated your plugins with the ones from the first post. make sure you are using the right versions for your operating system (if you are on 32bit os then the x86-32, and if you are on 64bit os then x86-64). If you still have issues please tell me which operating system you are running and is it 32bit or 64bit?

To quote myself from above your post:

Well I am 100% sure it is standard explorer feature, because the dividers were gained by setting the controls to use the theme info of explorer.exe. This change also allows the new vista like item selection effects.
-
Also based on screenshot from another topic... if you have Aero disabled it seems they will look much worse on colored backgrounds than they normally would. I tried black bg here (Win7) and the dividers look quite alright.
-
Not in 1.3.0, but it looks like we'll have to make it an option in next release based on the feedback thus far... just a question are you on Vista or Windows 7? Because with Windows 7 the dividers do not look nearly that bad with black background. Edit: from the looks of it ypu are not using Aero so that could be the reason why... in any case these dividers are actually a standard visual effect in Vista and above (check your windows explorer)

Please make note that after extracting the plugins, you'll now have to install them from Settings > Plugins to begin using them. Also source code for these plugins is included in both the main source code distribution of ApexDC as well as available as a separate smaller download on our SourceForge project page,

The auto-update feature is still there just disabled... if we get enough feedback asking for it to be re-enabled it will be... but right now you are the first one to make a note of this.
-
I don't run 64bit OS, so I couldn't be bothered to compile openssl or stlport for 64bit if I am completely honest with you.

The xml parser has changed (coming all the way from recent DC++), that's why... also that & should be &

I just now tried the Italian translation for 1.3.0, updated by diabolik2186, and it works just fine...
-
There were some trailing spaces removed as well...

This is just a wild guess but make sure your language files are really saved as utf-8.

The default paths get set to a location relative to where you first ran Apex, they won't get updated after that if you change the exe location. You need to change them in settings yourself now or do completely clean install of ApexDC. The first path can be found in Settings > Advanced > Logs, the two other in Settings > Advanced > Security.
