If you are on university lan then you need segmented downloading, because it decreases overloading from one single user.

if there is some ban list, it will just block you, so you won't be able to download from anyone. This is sharing application, so there's no reason to block any user. If you want to block someone, then go away from DC network.

Just make an order in your share. Why you want to share something which doesn't physically exist? It's only to rot when someone looks at your filelist, wants to download some folder from it, but this folder is empty.

it doesn't disconnect the transfer. The time just means that user will still get a slot when disconnects.

Our clients automatically keep duplicate files in filelist.

Because it's downloader who selects to download file list and must wait for it! When I want to download someone's filelist, I want to download immediately and not to wait until it downloads some large file which contains for-me-useless information. there's no possibility to detect downloader's speed.

When you have 20000 files in your filelist, it means file increase about 300 kB and it's too much! not everyone has LAN! Filelist is something which must be downloaded as fast as possible.

why not? just ask for password when window is opened and not when user click on systray icon.

it's not possible, because filelist is global but emulation is hub dependent. also I am against this feature because it will increase filelist size rapidly.

yes, they can, but it's not so easy and they have to restart their client :-)

Let's say there are some fakers. They will get banned, so they easily change their PIDs and can enter the hub again ;-)
