Hi all I got feedback from an ApexDC++ 0.4.0 user that he has also this problem. I checked with him all settings for the connections and made also some tests with downloading filelists from Active and Passiv users. Everything worked fine. But he wanted to know if this is a problem with his port- or FW-settings or if it is only the site that is being pinged. Can you please help me? Thx in advance. BR baba.runner

Hi All Well this thread is very informative. But it does not really reflect a "HOW TO"! I really have no experience with RAW-commands, I can only copy and paste them! How do I have to start with these RAW-commands? Where do I have to put them? In the favorite Hub list? Do I have to define them in the UserCommands? Do I have to make an xml-file (RAWProfile.xml) with these commands, like in some other Clients? Question over question. Hopefully someone can help me. Thx in advance.

Hi all A nice guide about this RAW-commands and how to install them and use them within ApexDC++ will be really great. Thanks in advance for any good work you certainly will do.

I found now out, why I did not see the View New Post and the My Controls!! It si because of the Skin selector. It was set to ApexDC++1.3 . Now I changed it to ApexDC++ 1.2 and , omg, a miracle, I can see the ViewNew posts and the My Controls. Sorry for the inconveniences this may have caused you. But you better ipdate also the ApexDC++ 1.3 skin :)

Those features were existing under the previous version of ApexDC++ Forums. But here in the new version I do not see them. If they also exist here please show me where. I must admit I am a bit confused now :stuart: :)

That will be excellent. And is this view, you must have the possibility to hit a button the mark all the unread posts as read! Will this be feasable? That will be really great! :)

Hi all Hi Squelch did you already try the search for alternate function and see if the user you want the file from is also in the search result. Another thing is that when this user maved the contecnt and also other content on his harddisk, it could also be that he is still hashing. This process could really use a lot of time.

It could be that for some settings you always have to restar your client!

How can you say you are not using limiter, when it is clearly stated in your TAG. it is this L:30. This means that you are limiting the UL-speed to 30kb/s
