I just updated Apex DC from 1.3.9 to 1.4.1 and I noticed some important performance issues. At first when I load the hubs from favorites it hangs for 20-25 seconds taking up to 50% of CPU usage, then when I have several uploads/downloads on the same time consumes 15-25% from CPU. Anyone else can confirm that?
I have a Core i5-750 at 3.3 GHz (3.7 GHz with Turbo).
I read on forums about "GeoIPCountryWhois.csv" and removed that completely, but still not solved anything. Now i installed back the 1.3.9 version and with the same settings, no hang at loading hubs from favorites, and CPU usage is 4-7% when I upload / download with several MB/sec.
I hope these performance problems will be solved in the next version.
