So... ApexDC++, as well as the upstream StrongDC++ and vanilla DC++, currently support english or cyrillic NMDC hubs based on system locale / codepage. Could you please bring this support to within the client, rather than externally? Like for instance how linuxdc++, freedc++ and eiskalt have an settings option to choose the displayed locale.
This would give you the incredible feature of supporting UTF8 over ordinary old NMDC, like those other clients do.

You can currently do that - it is a new feature of 1.4.x versions. Just look for "Hub encoding" in the properties of a favorite hub.

DC++ wont add more NMDC features since Arne doesn't want it the main plan is too remove NMDC atleast that's is what has been said in the past
