Hi.

Well as I said I'm not actually using Apex, but I have been trying it out.

I have a router and have ports forwarded. I am behind a firewall

In settings/connection settings, when i click get ip adress, it puts in my internal ip adress, and not the external one.

Well I just thought I'd let you know.

thanks irish this is a known feature [bug ]. there are plans to change this behaviour in the mean time you try and use this guide

Thanks for replying. Well actually i use the one at no-ip,com, which works pretty well.

Well except in some hubs, i get messages telling me that the adress I've entered in connection settings

(eg, something like rabbit.no.ip.info) and my actual adress are different.

although this seems to have something to do with the client. I don't get the problem when I use Sababa.

So i can't download, or search in those hubs.

But i didn't have

"Don't allow hub/UPnP to override"

I wonder if this will make any difference.

Well for one thing, some hubs give "unknown adress" until i connect a second time.
