apex dc++ process remains start

im using apex dc++ 1.5.7 and im using windows xp. after my use of apex dc++. i close down apex dc++ but after i closed down apex dc++ the process remain start it in task manager. so, what can i do to close the process perfectly as i just close down my apex dc++

I've noticed this for at least the last couple releases. I just kill the process in task manager.
