Generating searches and downloads through the Lua interface

To my understanding the LUA plugin permits client side scripting but does not support easy search and download. It would be really cool if I could initiate a search parse the result and start some downloads that satisfy my conditions.

e.g.

My case, I have a use list of songs collected from my Pandora selections. I want to download them from somewhere, however manually finding and downloading 1000 songs is more than pain.

Ideally, I would like a plugin to parse my song list and generate a bunch of searches over time (so that the hub operators do not get pissed at me and kick me out / ban me)
