ApexDC & Zonealarm Firewall Free

Hopefully someone can provide some advice regarding these programs.

Im at university, and often need to use both apex and zonealarm. Zonealarm needs to operate all the time, and when i start apex, i receive a notification that zonealarm may cause a conflict. Once im in to the hub, and begin downloading, after about 5mins or so, i cant connect to any hubs unless i disable zonealarm. Apex has been given full access through the firewall but still this occurs.

I also use another program sometimes, called revconnect, which does work properly. but i must admit that apex is the best!! :-)

So if there is a way to use both programs at the same time, i would be most greatful.
