Downloads Are missing..

Hey,

I download a file and it goes to the folder i created and set as the download directory, but when i open it, its epty, and when i try to reach the file from within apex, it say the file is not on the hard drive or network.

Then if i try again, i open up the folder manually, and there is a button at the top (running vista) that says compatibility files. if i press it the files show up. Is there a way around that, so they will always be accessible.

it's "feature" of Vista that it doesn't allow writing to "Program files" folder

Change your default download folder to a location that isn't within your program files folder, or disable this feature in Vista. We may have to work on making the client/installer checking which OS is used and asking the user to change the default download directory.
