I'm bringing this back up. I'm still having issues with downloading these files. As a test, I had a person that I know who runs a private hub, selected the same type of movie files, and he also could not download those files. He also looked at all the settings and could not fix the issue.

When I download a movie folder, not all the files are downloaded. I have to manually go back and grab the files missed. These are usually the small IFO and BUP files. I've looked in the settings, but did not see anything there that would prevent the file from being downloaded. For example, if I select the folder VIDEO_TS to be downloaded, the files IFO and BUP don't download.

Search/segment downloading in active mode does not work
Executioner replied to Executioner's topic in Support
I got it to work by changing the default "medium" firewall setting to "minimum security". http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...5/firewall.jpg -
Sorry for posting this again, but I tried to use another topic on the same subject but never got a reply. I'm having problems getting the search function to work, as it will not display any results even when looking for an exact file that I know is there on a user. Also, segmented downloading no longer works on 1.1.0 and when I upgraded to 1.2.0 beta. I have port forwarding and the check connection reports both TCP and UDP report a connection. I'm able to download files with no problem, and users are able to upload files from me. The Windows firewall is disabled. AVAST is un-installed. Not sure what else to check to make search and segmenting downloading work again. Did some reading, and another person said I needed to add one more TCP port, with a different port# than TCP and UDP, and put this new port# in the TLS window in settings. I did this and it still does not bring up any results. When I search, I've used "windows"; "windows*", and "windows*.*" with no results when I know the user has several files with the name "windows." Here are my router settings: http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg70/Wa...955/router1.jpg Any ideas what to try next? My router info: Westell Ultra Line Series 3 Model: A90-9100EM15-10 UPDATE: Someone suggested to have different port# for TCP and UDP and TLS. I tried this and it still will not display search results. I tried passive mode that that works searching the same file type "windows*", but active mode will not work. Any ideas as to what else I can try?

Got it to work. This new router has lots of settings, and the mistake I made was selecting Port Fowarding from the main menu. You have to go into the FireWall section and enter it in there. What really helped is a video showing the steps: http://forums.verizon.com/vrzn/board/messa...p;thread.id=358 Hope this helps others with this new router: Westell A90-9100EM15-10 Ultra Line Series 3. Also changed the ports to a higher number instead of the default 412 I had before.

Hi everyone, I'm able to connect but not able to download. I have forwarded the ports as in this screen shot: http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg70/Wa...1955/router.jpg If I "check connection" via Apex connection setup, I get: Failed to connect on TCP 412 Connected on UDP 412 Partial Connection Here is my setup through XP: http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg70/Wathen1955/ip.jpg and my setup through Apex: http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg70/Wathen1955/apex.jpg I can't see what might be incorrect with the setup. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I did not see this with version 0.4, but in version 1.0.0B2, if I disconnect a user because their speed was too slow during getting their file list, their name remains in the queue window. I've right-clicked and selected "remove user from queue" but the still remain in the window. I've looked at all the options, and did not notice any special setting allowing them to remain in the queue window.

Thanks for the replies. So that option is for downloading only, not for people downloading(uploading) from you?

Hi everyone, I'm not sure about the settings here in this option, but I do not want people to download from me if they are only getting 5kb/s. I have enabled this option in the LIMITS, but it does not seem to work, or either I'm not selecting the right options. Here is how I have it: Enable slow download disconnecting - this box is checked When segmenting downloading only - this box is not checked Disconnect download if speed is below - 5kb/s More than - 5 seconds And whole file speed exceeds - 0 And file size is more than - 0 Remove user from queue if speed is below - 5kb/s It seems I have it setup correctly, since I do not want people downloading if they can't have a 5kb/s download speed. I'm not sure about the "and whole file speed exceeds" settings. Can someone explain that option?

Hi, How do I use this command from the file menu (click on FILE, then select the command Get TTH for file)? Is this command used if you can't connect to a user that that does not support TTH?
