This guide shows you the simple step to enable your emoticon pack once installed into the ApexDC++/EmoPacks directory. You can use the customisation page to download the pack you wish and then extract the contents to that folder.
Open the main chat or private message window
Right click on the emoticon displayed right of the input message box
Select the emoticon pack you wish to use
