  1. Trying to download two different files with same hash...pls help

Well I did try a couple of other clients - Strong DC++ has the same issue - but DC++ (current version) downloads both duplicate hash files no problem. So I'll be switching to DC++. As for your workaround the only way I could do that is to remove the first files from the quese AND remove them from the download folder - not a convenient way to achieve the result. Thanks for the reply though.
  2. I've run into a consistent problem. When I try to download a VIDEO_TS folder I can't get all the files. There are pairs of small files with the same name but different extension. One file has a .IFO extension and the other file (used as a backup for it) has the .BUP extension. But they have the same TTH hash (not sure why...) In any case it appears that Apex sees these as duplicate files even though they are two separate files, and Apex only gets one of these files. I've gone through all my settings carefully. I do not have checked the setting labeled 'Queue>don't download files already in share'. Is there a way to have Apex get the duplicate? I tried another client Strong DC++ and ran into the same problem.
  3. Files seem to disappear from download queue

I downgraded to 1.5.0 and it's now working fine. The problem must be a bug in 1.5.1.
  4. Can I select different share folders for separate hub connections?

    OK that's cool, thanks Mek.
  5. Can I select different share folders for separate hub connections?

As a workaround - can I launch 2 instances of Apex, each with its own share?
  6. Hi, I'd like to connect to two hubs at the same time, but have different shared folders for each hub. Can I do this?
  7. Files seem to disappear from download queue

One more thing to add - today some files again disappeared from my DL queue. All queued files that were 0% downloaded disappeared. But this time the user who was seeding the files was online when I quit and relaunched Apex - so my problem does not have to do with offline users.
  8. Files seem to disappear from download queue

The apexdc.exe file does not stay in Task Manager process window when I quit Apex. Should it stay there? BTW files that I'm downloading that are in progress remain in my queue and continue to download when I relaunch Apex. So I'm pretty sure this problem is with my 0% downloaded files, and also perhaps when the user if offline when re-launching Apex. How would you suggest downgrading?
  9. Files seem to disappear from download queue

Hi Lee, I'm saving files to my NAS. Not sure what you mean about read only. And I will have to check Task Manager, it isn't something that I use. Should I see something in Task Manager when Apex is quit? I'm fairly new to Apex. I was using version 1.5 for a month or so without this issue, then I upgraded to 1.5.1 when it came out. And this problem just started in the past week.
  10. I've recently had a couple of occasions where after a quit and relaunch of Apex, some files disappear from my download queue. I'm pretty sure that the disappearing files were all 0% downloaded; and I know that some of the ones that disappeared were 0% because the user that I started to download them from was no longer online. I wonder if this could be a problem in the 1.5.1 version?
