  1. I thought having a topic on discussing films would be decent. So here it is.. Just state what film you've recently watched, with any additional information such as your rating out of 10, and a link to imdb.

    Rambo: First Blood (1982)

Great classic. I enjoyed the beginning of the film with Sylvester Stallone walking down a hill trying to find his friend who he served in the war with. (IMDB)

Superb film 9.8/10 - even with the continuity error - Rambo escaping from Sherriff's Office knocks an officer through some glass... runs upstairs and knocks the same officer through another plate of glass :)

Recent Film I watched... The Sentinel 7/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443632/) Good film, plausible... but isn't Michael looking old these days... It must be his money keeping Catherine Happy :blushing:

  2. had to manually go to the update page, the update in client stayed grey

also when I download the binary I get this when extracting

! C:\Documents and Settings\NadaWTB\Desktop\ApexDC++_0.2.1_binary.rar: Unexpected end of archive

! C:\Documents and Settings\NadaWTB\Desktop\ApexDC++_0.2.1_binary.rar: CRC failed in ApexDC++\ApexDC.pdb. The file is corrupt

! C:\Documents and Settings\NadaWTB\Desktop\ApexDC++_0.2.1_binary.rar: Unexpected end of archive

I get the same problems too and on the setup file I get an NSIS Error

The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete

  3. you got netlimiting features to so why develope ****?

OK Lets re-wind here..... What exactly do you not like about this client... Please let us know in coherant sentances or not at all.

It is Multi-downloading - In my opinion thats a good thing

It has Limiting Capabilities - In my opinion thats a good thing (as long as used sensibly)

Both these things can be regulated by the rules of the hub... Are you not good enough an Op to do this in your hub ??

Please don't flame people here who, as previously stated, are developing a good client for the DC++ Community for free...

If you don't like it... Fine don't use it but please don't come in here telling these people it's ****, thats plain RUDE!!!

  5. I agree with Balder - I have similar setup

    Peerweb on machine A

    Apex on Machine B

Both can search and dl in active mode

and son on third machine via wireless and he active too so may have been a setup issue or router playing silly bugga's following a reboot.

I know it sounds obvious, but I see it sooooo many times.... Just re-check all port's internal ip's for the machines and ext ip for DC++ sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees :ermm:  :D

  6. if what you posted made sense we would care but no-ip wont help keep you dc DLing when ip changes i have no-ip

Now now GS no need to get stressy

I have been using no-ip in my client for as long as I can remember and have never had dl stop cos ip changed in the middle of the night or if it has I have not noticed cos it picks it up again when ip refreshes

I have shown this method to many friends who have dynamic ip and they all pleased with the results

  7. ~Don't struggle with an ext ip changing.... get a DynDNS or no-ip account they are free

put that in instead and run the updater.... changing ip blues go away - except as previously stated the odd "you have supplied an invalid ip message" just after your ext ip has changed and before the updater has caught the new ip
