This one had to be changed since IPS introduced a new look. It should be less bloat and easier on the eyes. The previous skins aren't reusable due to the amount of template changes, but I'll keep it like this for a while so you get used to it Mek. ;)

Have you tried using Passive mode under Settings > Connection settings? Moved to Support.
-
Yes, recently there have been a few 1.4.x bug-riddled versions that we are not proud of. We have taken the feedback on board and will go through further testing before we announce any future builds to the public. If you're interested in this, please PM me and if you're convincing I will add you to our tester group. ;)

Prevent users from occupying more than one upload slot

Then it would have to be DC++, because only then would all DC++ based clients use it with the same level of compatibility. However, they are not interested in working on an old protocol and are focusing on pushing ADC for hub owners to migrate. :) -
Previously we have had PeerGuardian built into the program and this caused issues for a lot of users with increased resource usage. We plan to offer a plugin so you can download and maintain a simple blacklist/whitelist in the program itself without affecting the majority of users. I don't think there are many large public ADCS hubs right now.
-
Hi socialbreakz, 1. Encryption is enabled by default but the hub software determines whether it is used. You should use ADCS to benefit from this. 2. Segment downloading can be disabled in the settings 5. It is on the list to introduce as a plugin

Not interested in this... settle it privately. All you do is argue and it puts DC in bad light. I find it concerning how you both aren't native English speakers yet are convinced you've interpreted it correctly. Sorry for the hijacking terminator :)

That is some great feedback TTB, I'm sure Phate will be grateful. :)

What happens on a fresh install connecting to the same hubs?
-
Ask the hub admin if there is a guide to setting up the connection ready to use on the LAN. :)
-
You have checked out both these guides available on the website? I suggest you head over to the DCDev hub and ask somebody to help you there. This should be the link: DCDev Public

It's possible, but we will wait for Big Muscle before we make a decision because he originally coded it.
-
Nice, a recent project finally supporting ADC. You seem to update it quite regularly, what was changed with the last update?
-
Hello, I have moved this to the support forum for you. Did you have the hub set as favourites? You could try extracting the password from favourites.xml and see if that is the one you're using. You'll need to contact a user on the hub or the hub operator so they can reset your password for you. Is it a private hub?
-
Hi, We don't force normal updates but when it effects the core functionality of the program or security, we do so.

It's possible with ADC hubs because every user has a CID. -
Have you got the maximum simultaneous downloads/files set correctly?
-
This is not possible anymore, but we're looking into converting the function to a plugin.
-
Next time keep a copy of your favourites.xml file in Program Files just in case. That way you can keep a backup of your hubs. :)

Want to save my hub, user and user list, before install new OS

Do you have dcppboot.xml in your Program Files/ApexDC++ folder? If you don't, compress this folder but remove dcplusplus.xml (so it generates a new one when launched). -
Or if the router has stopped allowing that TCP port. :)
-
When ApexDC++ crashes, it usually creates an exceptioninfo.txt in Program Files/ApexDC++ directory. If you can't locate it, try searching your computer for the file.
-
Hi Bjoerndalen, just seen your message on the TGO hub. Have you got enough free space on your hard drive? Does it generate an exceptioninfo.txt in the ApexDC++ directory?

We have successfully moved to a new server located in Europe. It provides us with a dedicated 100mbit uplink to the data centre, more powerful processor and better response times. We are using Nginx alongside a few other tools to increase page loading performance and provide better stability under our peak times. Please let us know if you have any feedback or issues while browsing the site or forums.
