  1. Op-client ApexDC++

    Eh? You can use the op client with multiple hubs you know.
  2. Enable Admin to PM seperate groups

    This is unfortunately something the hub operator needs to implement into their hubsoft (TGO has done it). :)
  3. Don't worry, they can't win. :lol:
  4. ApexDC++ revealed!

    The tour was designed to show you what features are going to be available on launch, including the interface screenshots. To get rid of the the newbie title you need to post more. The PeerWeb DC++ toolbar icons will be on offer in the customisation page currently being worked on. There you will find emoticons, toolbar icons, user list icons, and dc themes (from pwdc++ too). :)
  5. StrongDC++ 2.01 released

    Split the post from the competition, since that's for entries. We've have been waiting for 2.00 mainly, and so development is going pretty fast. :)
  6. ApexDC++ revealed!

    If you're referring to the toolbar and settings icons, the StrongDC++ 2.00 ones are brilliant and we wish to keep them for ApexDC++ 1.0. In future versions we may include new toolbars, but we need people to contact us for that. Currently everyone at nerdcore is busy and therefore we have nobody with enough time to do this. If anyone would like to get in touch, please PM Crise or I. :)
  7. ApexDC++ revealed!

    Super seeding is a far more recognised feature/name than partial file transfer enhancement. It's used in Bittorrent as you know, and most users will understand the feature without needing an explanation. Thanks for all the feedback on the logos. Grogs has kindly used the psd's to produce some darker images that fit with the program a little more.
  8. Development begins

    The development team is pleased to announce the beginning of our development franchise. Over the next couple of days you will see a set of initial versions for our regular client, identified as public previews of the 1.0 release. If you want to gain access to our private development builds (currently based on StrongDC++2.00) leading up to the our public releases you can either enter our competition or donate. There has been steady progress with the Linux project, headed by mattdev121. He has used Linux DC++'s cvs repository to ensure the latest bugs are fixed, and has fixed numerous bugs himself. He is positive his version is superiour and more stable than Linux DC++. Stay tuned for further details on this. The regular version's development has suppressed what we could have imagined over the past few days. Crise has been spending a large amount of his time preparing the client ready for launch. Remember that these will be classed as experimental, and are released to provide feedback on features included. If you don't like something, tell us and we can improve it before we release 1.0. Details on changes will be present upon the release of public previews/betas of ApexDC++. Visit the forums to stay up to date. Finally, the OP client has seen decent progress. SkyNet (head coder) has been researching clients to provide us with a stable program. You can check out the latest on this, here.
  9. Development begins

    We're going to announce our project's images tonight. Along with this preview, there will be new areas of the site available. Note: Only 4 days after I promised a week. :)
  10. Hub Info

    Moved to Client Discussion. Welcome to ApexDC++. There will be a support hub available in favourites called TechGeeks Online. :)
  11. connection failed...

    You need to enter your IP address, and make sure the program is allowed in Kaspersky.
  12. apexdc has not been released yet

    Big Muscle has closed the cvs once again, but I'll contact him and see whether I can still merge the important fixes. :D
  13. A vacation

    Well most of the new site features are to be launched with the first public version.. so I see that as a little more challenging. :stuart: It's not just about the icons, we still have a fair bit of features to add in there before preview.
  14. A vacation

    Indeed, hopefully we can have a public launch before I go.. so less work is given to Crise and developers to organise a release. :)
  15. A vacation

    I'm certainly not going there. Will be off to Lanzarote for two weeks soon :D
  16. God dammit. I was so far off in my entry it is embarassing. I've stickied this again since a public version isn't far off now! :)
  17. Development begins

    Believe me, we want to show off ApexDC++ as much as you want to see it. Give it a week maybe and we'll have a solid amount of teaser information to post. By then the client will be well on it's way to being ready (providing no problems occur). :)
  18. Maybe we should just release it on a date a tester guessed, so we don't have to give anyone the reward. :D
  19. Useful things in search window

    Ok, we'll take a look.
  20. Useful things in search window

    Oh I see. I'll ask Crise to look into it.
  21. Hub name

    I misunderstood what you meant. Hub names have been parsed much shorter in SDC++ 2.0.
  22. Useful things in search window

    Show me a screenshot of what you mean.
  23. Temp files resume after HD crash

    Yep, I have published it in the guide forum ready for launch. Cheers Kulmegil. :)
  24. Development begins

    StrongDC++ 2.00 has been released today. Download
  25. Um, this doesnt need to be in the chat interface..
