Thanks, can you provide a screenshot and I'll add it to the new customise page. ;)

Please note that this list is very basic, an extensive to do list is available in the beta/donator forum. These features will be looked at, and attempted to be coded into one of the 1.0 beta versions: Update IP on startup Update IP every x minutes Update check converted to News type system (informs user of new version and community updateds) Check Settings (with improvements) Auto detect IP Multiple away messages Extra connection speed tags in General settings (for old DC++ way) Winamp toolbar (no winamp window) Keyboard shortcuts to menu options Windows > Disconnect Filelists, Offline, etc Favourite Hubs sorting Password protection Enhanced tab handling (FulDC) First time setup guide Have /example main chat commands (extensive /stats, /google, /apexdc, etc) Permanent main chat and PM ignore lists Nerdcore, PeerWeb and other emoticon packs Winamp spam in dimmed colour (so it doesnt stand out) Disable sound in PM only Enhanced /clear commands (including a clear chat button) Super seeding (requires re-write) More to be added These features above do not need to be requested again. We're already going to take a look at them for 1.0. We plan to re-arrange the settings page to be more organised, improve the language so beginners understand certain settings, with a possibility of having a basic and advanced view. This topic will be updated regulary. Last updated: 17th March 05.

Does it need to?

Already requested, and is currently being looked into. Please search next time, and welcome to the forums. ;)

That's odd. Do you fresh install?
-
It's a possibility. I'm sure Nas fixed the whole connection test problem..
-
Just right click on the finished download and press Close Connection.
-
Go knick the source. Most likely an impossible task...
-
Then it's definitely something your end... just recheck everything, change the allowed ports to something else, etc, try all possiblities.

Is he downloading a file that you're currently downloading off somebody else? Have you unchecked ALL folders in share to see whether you have a 0byte share, then readd your folders. If you have some sort of share when you uncheck your folders, you're mistakingly sharing something you don't want to.

Discussion topic on StrongDC++ forums. We've already discussed it there, so read over what people have said.
-
In that case, we need more info. E.g. what folders were shared, and what folders weren't, and what files were downloaded in what folder.. etc.
-
If the user is in another hub that you're in with your share visible, he will download it. Or, if you recently hid your share but users still have you in their download queue as a source. Unforntunately, there's no way of fixing this.

I don't know whether this has anything to do with it, but Ghostface is currently on vacation. I'll get Crise to take a look.. or he might comment here.
-
We'll add these to our new customisation page, but not distribute them directly with ApexDC++. :ermm: Thanks!
-
I will update the rules in this forum too.
-
You try emule and apex on the same ports?
-
Hi, Big Muscle fixed checking bots in StrongDC++ cvs 169, and ApexDC++ is based on 2.01 which is cvs 170 I believe.
-
Nice site, bookmarked. Thanks for all the submissions! :)

The winner has been notified. Unpinned.

Choose a date that you believe ApexDC++'s first public version will be released on, and post it below. If it's in the month of February, you must choose a date. The member closest to the correct date of the version's public release will receive Beta Tester status, giving you the authorisation to download new beta versions and test them before anyone else! Good luck! My date: 28th February.

Wow, can't believe I made that mistake. Especially when I convert them to .ico... Everyone needs to stop repeating what others said... we're going to make the icon lighter. End of.. wait till preview 2. :)

That's a .gif, program recognises .bmp only. And we're working on it.
