Hi hellfire, We don't actually recommend this mod since it has a 200 maximum segment limit, which inevitably takes too much slots off other users.

When a user disconnects the hub, the hub name is now displayed.

Reinstall the plugin (e.g. put that file back).

I don't mean to be. I have a considerable amount of university work to do by 15 January. The idea is good, but I'm too busy to implement it.

What happens if we decide to redo changes? I suppose it's an informative idea, but it's just another little thing we need to keep updated rather than concentrating on the client development. We'll consider this.

Some of those maybe useful. PM me or Crise once you've finished.

SourceForge just recorded over 200,000 downloads!

Early this morning we received an email from a fella called Father Christmas (aka Santa) with an attachment. Inside was a vast amount of well organised code for our open source project, which allowed us to progress so far on Christmas eve. However, there was a catch - Santa told us we had to release this helpful present on Christmas day otherwise it would magically dissappear. While Crise, Nas, Greg and I were puzzled with amazement, we decided to release it under the name 0.4.0. Santa's Elves must have been busy, because there's a large amount of fixes and features available to you all. Go download 0.4.0 (Preview 4) now and have a Merry Christmas! If you'd like to support ApexDC++ to help costs, or to have access to development builds towards our next public release, log in and look at this page. :)

We have been contemplating it for a while, and only recently been able to progress further into implementation state. Stay tuned.

Don't be a leecher and not share what you download. Limit your upload speed so you can still max out your download.

That's a first Crise (teasing our userbase :crying:).

Maybe we could offer a LAN-only client like IceDC++ does. Or within the regular client itself, that makes you only able to connecto ertain addresses like stated above.
-
This doesn't happen often enough to warrant a shortcut or further improvement in my eyes.
-
We're working on it. :)

Thanks, updated the guide. :)

Best place for it I think. Thanks to everyone who's contributed to this article. :)

ApexDC++ is so much easier to get into active mode than any other DC++ client out there. 1. Press "Get IP Address" and enable "Auto Update IP on startup". 2. Enter ports, port forward correctly if required. 3. Press "Check connection" to see if it works. Whereas with PeerWeb DC++, you couldnt receive an external IP address from the Get IP function.

Updated the guide to utilise ApexDC++'s unique features to help get into active mode. :)

We thought instead of jumping to 1.0 quickly, we'd establish our userbase, features, stability and then release 1.0.
-
I'd suggest using a lower port. Something above 1100 though.

Happy New Year. I'm still slightly drunk. :)

And that is configurable in the Misc section.

The menu links are further up in the header imagine in 1.3.
