There isn't a 10 source limit, there's a segment limit per file. Which means that you can download off 10 users for one file... that's enough.

This is something we will take into consideration for the future, but don't expect it too soon.

That's truely excellent news. Thanks for sharing this with us, and please continue to convince people to switch. :)

Sad to see you won't be active a for a few months, but ultimately education is priority. We hope you return as soon as possible because your contribution is invaluable. Today, we also demoted balder from the testing enviroment due to a lack of time available, but he hopes to continue with his support role. :)

The size of the setup file isn't really a problem, since SF hosts our files. Would you like the actualy program to be in the language specified or just the setup file instructions?
-
Did you tell ApexDC++ to become the program that uses the magnet file extension, if so.. that's what's happening.
-
If you installed using our installer, it adds some registry keys so you can uninstall it from the Add and Remove Programs control panel.
-
We assume this won't be the case in ADC.

Thanks for all the feedback. We're looking into ways to improve the forums, and one of them is to provide additional language support on the official forums rather than people going to 3rd party sources. If anybody has knowledge in English and other languages, and is willing to help moderate or help out members in your language, please PM me.

We're always thriving to reach the project's full potential while allowing our community to discuss and help progress the project as a whole. One of the ways to do this is the use of the forums, and therefore we'd appreciate it if you could complete our poll to provide us with some feedback regarding this. You're allowed to discuss any points below too (in fact, we encourage it). Thank you for your time in completing this poll. ApexDC++ Management Note: This is a great way to test our IPB 2.2 poll system.

Thanks for registering and showing an interest. Almiteycow is currently working on the project, so the best persont o ask would be him. He keeps a record of what he's working on, including his errors, here.

We'd like to bring your attention to our recently created Linux area for ApexDC++. Almiteycow has been porting our Windows version to Linux, but has come across problems within the RevConnect code used in ApexDC++. 28/02/07: There's a compilable pre-alpha version without ApexDC++'s features, here. We're now looking for people to help port ApexDC++ specific features ready for a release. The prize fund of $130 is still on offer for people who help out porting features. More information is available in the Linux development forum. 11/03/07: We require Linux enthusiasts who are able test these development versions so stop by the forums and participate.

Do you have PeerGuardian 2 installed? You don't need the plugin if you do.

Submitted this help request to Digg, so please help us spread the word about this via digging. :)

If you don't have match queue on you do not need to download filelists to search for more sources.

DC++ is being ported, via LinuxDC++.

Cheers for the extra price funds both of you. I've updated the first post and I'll send a little update reminder via email. :)
-
I've pinned this again to bring further attention to it. Thanks for the contribution Kevo (if it does infact get ported).

It's the developer's responsibility to ensure features are not abused within their client. :whistling:

Seeker might have accidently placed it there.

If you're using the check connection link in the connection settings, it could be giving you false TCP failure.

Our development team does not have a Vista license to help test and code for it, so we cannot do this. Maybe Vista moves program-specific stuff to another location?
