We've activated the PeerGuardian updater, so go to Settings > Security and update your blocklists. Warning: It is only updated monthly, so don't hammer the server each day trying to update. Screenshots

After a year of planning and development we are proud to present our first public beta of 1.0.0. This release is the largest and most anticipated in the project's history, introducing an improved interface and 32 new features, including loads of additional changes and fixes (changelog). Due to our 0.4.0 preview having a few errors in merging with StrongDC++, we're announcing a highly recommended upgrade so you can securely upgrade without experiencing any performance issues.

Weird. Can anybody confirm they are using NOD32 and experiencing crashes? Edit: Crise thinks different.

Fixed in Beta 2, expect it to be released soon. ;)

This is fixed in Beta 2.

I've disabled the update check for the new update until we re-upload Beta 1 without the frequent crash.
-
That's pretty obvious ProProductions, which is why I've merged them into this topic. Easier to follow.
-
Please post crash reports here rather than in the release topic. ;)
-
We already tried and it messed up our English characters. Please be aware there's been report of a frequent crash with the beta. If you receive this crash, simply downgrade back to 0.4.0 and wait for an update.
-
Updated first post with it. Please remember to edit your topic if you already have one rather than posting. ;)

Merged. We're looking into the problem. We advise you to downgrade to 0.4.0 and wait for an update for the time being. ;)

Come on guys, search previous topics before putting different crashes in this one. Split.

True balder. I don't want to see money thrown into a project and nothing comes out of it (e.g. the revconnect code gets done, but there's still no linux client).
-
Read Zlob's post again. BM fixes his bugs, we fix ours. Sometimes Crise would use a temp patch, b t it isn't that often. I think you've just come here to kick off a fuss. Sure other clients are going to be different, have different code... it's inevitable. Whether you prefer that over another it doesn't matter. The majority of new stuff in recent alphas is from our ideas and not borrowed from other clients. :)

We have a couple of users on Linux to test it. Crise and Balder: Yeah... the price has increased, so I don't see why the workload shouldn't either. That's my opinion, and obviously it's not my money, but do you see all the people who donated visiting here regularly to stay updated with the latest? We got to make the best of what they donated, which is what I thought they'd want. :)
-
What's with you today, Crise? I don't need reminding, I wrote the announcement. That was what we originally wanted for a small prize fund, then it got higher.
-
Bugs are inevitable my friend, even if you reinvent the wheel. That isn't an option for us, because: A) it takes time and  we may as well focus on new features with the time we have
-
Yeah, we noticed it today. Unfortunately I have no idea why that occurred, so we'll have to see if it pops up frequently and I'll report it.
-
By working I mean our userbase can use. If nobody is going to do the GUI, of course we need that doing too.
-
I said compiles and works... meaning the GUI too.

We've been eating Easters Eggs and can no longer reach our keyboards, we're going to have to wait a few months till we lose the weight. :)

Today we release ApexDC++ 1.0.0 Final and PeerWeb DC++ 1.0 Final. It's time to show how much we appreciate our users and release both stable releases earlier than we planned. Remember to post feedback on both releases in the announcement topic and we will do our best to accommodate them. We haven't had time to update the changelog page, so please download the product and use it yourself. We have included a few easter eggs in the PeerWeb DC++ 1.0 release, including lots of innovative features. In the mean time spread the word about the two releases. Enjoy. :)

If it compiles and works (won't WTL need porting?), sure. Can be a nice donation for your hard work. :)
