Hello, Some users in my hub are complaining that there is an error while updating their ApexDC++ 0.4.0 to the new one, and i was wondering if the installer could close the program, NOT kill it, just close it and allow all settings to be saved and stuff, this way the "noob" users could update knowing everything was running smooooothly Just add a new installer page saying "In order to update ApexDC++ your client must be closed, please click YES to the question that ApexDC++ will ask you when you click Next > " simple ? btw i love the new version and everything you have done is.... amazing ! what, sorry dont understand your response what i mean is that User Account Control (UAC) blocks ALL things in protected folders, progs, windows those thingys so what does apex do ?

im talking about users using the setup program, noobs that dont know what "Program Files" is :)

well IMO apexdc is much cooler and would be used more if you advertise it enough :D

When will this get fixed, i posted this bug in the 0.5.0 beta thread this is wrong, just try it yourself, lock apex minimize it (make sure it is locked) and open a new apex and click no, and the locked one pops up, unlocked...

no i dont want to spam anyone i want a standalone hub, when a user connects to that hub he gets a single message and is disconnected. NOTHING ELSE !

Hello users, I have a small challenge for you I need a SMALL program that accepts DC++ connections, throws out a message to mainchat and disconnects... It should have a configuration file to change listening ports, text that is sent out, and somesort of a counter that counts the connections it gets... It should not process any connection information exept just barely enough to print out the message and close the connection It should NOT print out a name of it like this hub is running blablabla (its not a hub :thumbsup:) and pk string could be like "Announcer" It should work on windows (any version) and more if you have the skills and patience to make it It should use EXTREMELY low resources, under a MB in ram shouldn't be that hard Interested ? Unfortunetly i don't have anything to give for this app exept the fun of making it I would make it myself if i had the skills to do it

Hi I have a ApexDC++ 0.4.0 client online in my hubs and kicking for forbidden clients and netlimits... I was wondering if it was possible to use ADL search to auto search for TTH and run a raw command on it if found... My team can easily copy down TTH's of forbidden files and i then add them to the bot... Will this be possible and then when Thanks

i realize that, but i want something VERY light and not with a hubname and version line that confuses noobs that hardly know what dc is :thumbsup: also i need a very small imprint on my server :P

well since i got my subscriber thingy i get "stuff" that others, dont... and that "stuff" works perfectly to do exactly what i want :D
