    that's because in recent alphas/betas, we have changed stuff so that we utilize power of php with the version checking, to allow one feature to function without need for more than one connection at start up :)

    the version.xml is still there, but it needs to be accessed from php script in order for it to function correctly...

    You don't need to / can't do anything, but wait for next version :)

    Any news on what's going on? :D

    sometimes comes back as failed, and sometimes connected ok

    What kind of LAN are you on anyway?.. Where's the server, what OS is it running; or is it just a router hooking up some computers & it connects to the wall?.. Am I asking too many questions here? :D

    may be a fault of the reporting site

    Yea, thanks ppl ;) Btw forum avatar settings could be looked @ because when uploading an avatar smaller then 160x160 it's automatically stretched to that (offsite same thing) :| No good .. perhaps allowing for entering image size (limits still apply in that case) TTYL
