This client does not search for or find tth alternatives and don't bother telling me it does because i know for a fact it doesn't and the segmented downloading feature is almost completely useless. Ive asked about this many times before here and just got sunshine blown up my ass. Ive proven to myself by testing that tth auto search for alts does not work and segmented downloading with this client is a waste of time. The way ive proven it is by finding the files and then searching for tth alternatives and watching as it doesnt find them when I know for a fact they are there and as i have a slot granted to me for files i watch as it almost never finds any other sources and if i manually search for the sources i find all kinds. Im just letting everyone know. This client is bull****. And now you can all go on and on about how i dont know what im talking about and my testing was invalid and blah blah blah well ive been testing clients now for 3 years and everyone who knows anything know this client sucks. So either fix it or just give it up and move on to something else. If anyone here actually believes this client works is either to sycophantic to admit it or has to much invested to give it up. bye.

i got a message saying my version was a sec=urity risk to me and everyone on dc++ and it wanted me to download a new version when i clicked close or ok the client would dissappear but would still be running in task manager but there was no interface. i did manage to upgrade to 1.1.0 by another way the offer would not let me upgrade at all and my share was gone now everything is back to default as if it was totally new install. Does anyone know what the hell is goin on here ?? the only time i ever saw anything like this was with that zion blue 2.07 nightmare.

Does anyone have any idea why the file list transfer is so slow ?? everything else is fine but when someone is getting my file list or when i'm getting theirs its really really slow like sometimes as long as 10 - 20 minutes. I have a 3mb line and all the rest of my uploads and downloads of large files are o.k.

well looks like apex has become the victim of the same thing zion was 6 months ago. its the update, ppl get an offer to update because of some bull**** about viruses and it screws the client beyond repair for most users and they dont upade they just dump it and switch to another client. I dont if you guys are victims or did this yourselves but for most ppl on dc++ apex is totally screwed. GOOD JOB !! I'm still using it because i figured out how to fix it but no one else will bother.

ok im using an older version of apex and im getting that bug popup and when i close it the client closes if i delete the dcpluplus.xml i lose all my settings if i check dont announce new version then the new bug is still downloaded with the new xml i even tried doing it all offline then as soon as i went online it downloaded the new xml there must be a way to edit the new xml to get rid of the bug. Can anyone just tell me what to edit in the xml to remove the bug pls ??

im using an older version now and dont want to update if it is the new dcplusplus.xml then what part of that .xml is it and can i just edit it out ??

alright im sorry for being so critical and im sorry for not reading the changelog could someone pls tell me how to fix this problem. the client closes when i close the dialog box and if i delete the dcpluplus.xml i lose all my settings and a new xml with the bug always downloads with the update .xml ive tried everything ive disabled the announce new versions ive tried being offline will doing setup and pls dont just tell me to get the newest version not eveyone wants the newest versions. When i open my download queue the client freezes ?? and permanently freezes (not responding) i have to close it and restart the client this happens with any new client (airdc, zion blue & green, xiondc, strongdc, ect, ect,) The only one ive found that doesnt do this is peerweb. How do i fix this ?? I'm thinking it may have something to do with vista x64 ??

well that sucks, um its pretty big is there anyway to tell how big with out opening it ?? prolly around 20gb

does apexdc++ work in x64 os and if not does anyone know of a dc++ client (apex or not) that is configured for x64 vista ultimate iver managed to get a few clients working but they have glitches. Any help would be appriciated. pls reserve critisism for vista for m$ i dont care if you like vista or not.
