Posted May 8, 2009 Hi, normally I use the setting "Manual port forwarding" with the TCP and UDP port set to 56000 as those two are the only ones I have open from my provider. But sometimes I need to use these ports in another application (for ex. uTorrent). I have to change the port numbers in the "manual port forwarding" setting and then select the "passive" option. And then everything works in passive mode and the TCP and UDP ports are available for use. If I don't change the port numbers first, the two ports don't get freed. Why doesn't ApexDC use new, random ports, when in passive mode? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
