Posted August 17, 2008 Does anyone have any idea why the file list transfer is so slow ?? everything else is fine but when someone is getting my file list or when i'm getting theirs its really really slow like sometimes as long as 10 - 20 minutes. Posted August 17, 2008 File lists use 'small file slots', meaning, you can get a slot for a file list even when the user has all their ordinary slots in use. As a result, these ordinary slots will often take priority so your stuck with whatever bandwidth remains. The only way around it, would be for the small file slots feature to be removed, this would then leave users waiting eons for slots for file lists. Well, I know what I prefer, waiting for 20 mins for a file list than waiting for 3 hours for a slot to then get the list in a few mins.... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
