Full foobar support

9 posts in this topic

Well, much is said in the title.

Is it possible to have as much support as for winamp integrated into AphexDC++?

Is it needed/wanted?

(sorry if was asked already - search didn't find anything to that matter)

The only player for audio I use is foobar. So I would like this, personally...

I'n not 100% sure (as haven't actually taken s look) but at least when this was discussed before, we ended up to the fact that Foobars API dosn't allow it as it is (read: needs plugin)... (there has been new version of foobar since then, but i doubt this fact has changed)

Is it really a big problem to use foo_winamp_spam? Personally I need it for other stuff anyway, I don't think this request is needed, the ability to make plug-ins (or components) was so you could add features like this, so when one is availble which does the task I don't see why "more" (because there's not much more it would achieve?) "support" for it is needed.

I wouldn't mind but foo_winamp_spam (foobar2000 forum topic) does the job nicely, even with newest v0.9.1

(note that it's also configurable in Foo's preferences)

Make winamp/MPC (& Foobar) players states (playing/paused/stopped) translatable.

If You really have some time to spare consider some more from my topic from SDC++ forum.

For some reason foo_winamp_spam doesn't work for me on the new latest Peerweb DC (0.41 I believe).

EDIT: Seems to work now...didn't see the new version of it.
