Posted April 10, 2007 After a year of planning and development we are proud to present our first public beta of 1.0.0. This release is the largest and most anticipated in the project's history, introducing an improved interface and 32 new features, including loads of additional changes and fixes (changelog). Due to our 0.4.0 preview having a few errors in merging with StrongDC++, we're announcing a highly recommended upgrade so you can securely upgrade without experiencing any performance issues. Must be heavy load for the server... EDIT: Oh, yeah, and looking forward to testing the new version - eventhough still missing some important features. Since Crise hasn't been responding to any of my status requests on the features (here and here) I guess they won't come.. ;)
Posted April 10, 2007 OK so all that seems to keep happening is that apex keeps crashing with access voilations, they all seem very similar if not the same. SO instead of me continously posting tons of exception info's I have decided to put up a live version on one of my sites Live Exceptioninfo.txt It's there and is more or less live, except the time it takes the file to update. Posted April 10, 2007 Offtopic: Please change default charset for russin style of this forum from iso-8859-1 to utf8. Thanks. We already tried and it messed up our English characters. Please be aware there's been report of a frequent crash with the beta. If you receive this crash, simply downgrade back to 0.4.0 and wait for an update. Posted April 10, 2007 hmmmmmm dont want to be an disapointment but i also got runtime error... I have a big queue 12-14GB and there are only mp3 files in queue. That means 3-20 mb in size... hmmmmmm I never used a client which didnt crashed. With 0.4.0 I have had luck, but I didnt push him much like other clients. That means huge queue, huge favorite user list, very nice stuff in share so everyone wants to download from me... and slow connection... I wish You luck guys. Apex is the best client on the world :crying: Cheers
