Parametres in 'Tag.'

5 posts in this topic

Can anybody explain me what do magical parametres in userlist column Tag mean? As far as I have understood, M means mode: active or passive, H means hubs count, ++ means standard DC client, Strg++ means StrongDC++ & Apex++ -- ApexDC++ client. But what else and why in H part is three subparametres?

<ApexDC++ V:0.4.0,M:A,H:0/1/0,S:1,L:30>

V = version number

M = Active or Passive

H = Hubs connected to, where x/0/0 = public hubs, 0/x/0 = private hubs, 0/0/x = hubs operating under

S = Number of upload slots set

L = Upload limit

Thanks! Now it's second phase of questions:

  • what's public & private hub -- i. e. how status - public / private can be set?

  • Sometimes I see parameter O: what's this?

public is one you don't supply a password to enter. private isn't really private, it is just one you have a registered account in that isn't a keyed operator.

O:x is the point at which the client opens another slot if you upload falls below x.

so if O:20 and your upload drops below 2 while all slots are full, another one is opened.

Underlining is made by me.

Really the value of O is 10 times larger than minimum speed for opening a new slot? And what is unit of measurement? For me the most reasonable is Kb/s.
