Posted December 19, 2006 AFAICS your LAN IP is 192.168.2.1, and you are setting to 192.168.2.2.
Posted December 19, 2006 I know that. That IP shown is my IP address, still does not work So then you haven't set up your ports correctly. Use this guide for that.

Posted December 19, 2006 AFAICS your LAN IP is 192.168.2.1, and you are setting to 192.168.2.2. maybe, but i suspect this is the ip address of the router, 192.168.2.1. AFAICS, do you have more then one network card or do you have a software firewall. could you also confirm 192.168.2.2 is you addy, e.g. windows -> run "cmd /k ipconfig". TBH you are probably best trying to get hold of some one in TGO. Could you also say what hubs you are tying to search in. some hubs require you to reg before you can search. Posted December 26, 2006 I did not setup port forwarding incorrectly unless your blind It works fine for DC++, just not in APEX DC++ In APEX, I can't use manual port forwarding, can't use passive, can't use anything! Why does it work in DC++ then? I'm using official Vista RTM Limewire, DC++ both work but not APEX I can grab the public list and connect, but I cannot get file lists nor search results I do not have software firewall installed, I have Avast Antivirus installed only. I tried 192.168.2.1 for "network interface for all connections" What should go in TLS?
Posted December 26, 2006 I'm using official Vista RTM ... What should go in TLS? How can you use official Vista, as it is not out for retail customers as of yet... TLS, you can leave empty.

Posted December 26, 2006 PLZ, don´t be rude. Use bind address to map your LAN IP and use the same IP in router. If you have ApexDC 0.4.0 then it have a drop down box with your LAN IP in bind address. There are more things you have to check like software firewall, try disable it and try again.

I've got RTM too, though i ain't a MSDN subscriber (borrowed it from a friend :whistling:), unactivated Vista isn't an illegal software, we know that, but don't be rude. I know what RTM means, thank you but since you didn't tell that you are an msdn subscriber it's perfectly normal for us to assume that your version would've been pirated as with majority of people that use vista now that's the case (in this forum anyways since ApexDC is a P2P software after all, even if we do not approve nor encourage usage for illegal activities...)
